this is deadass bittersweet, been around and seeing the grind for years, and appreciated your music taste in R&B and actually giving nostalgia the moment it deserved. i had a feeling something was up, because so many reactors are starting to push away from music reactions because of copyright and the algorithm is a common denominator. currently having that issue with my own videos as a mashup artist and content creator who typically creates R&B, nostalgic mashups. no one watches, and it just screws up your self-worth and makes you question is it worth sharing on a platform that doesn't value you. i did pay for one song request a LONG while ago but i didn't think you did it, but either way, seeing you crank consistent videos, but thank you for listening to good R&B with an open mind and a good ear.

I also wanted to add, that I had been on dialysis for a year before bumping into your channel. I can’t tell you how many treatments your videos helped me get through. Growing up in the 90s, a lot of the pieces you reacted to brought back so many memories. And here we are years later and still watching and now with a new kidney after a transplant back in October 2023. Thank you for all you do and I look forward to where things progress!

Didn't even know reacting to music videos was a thing until I came across your channel. Changed my life. It was your commentary & knowledge for music that grabbed my attention, but it was your genuine passion for music & appreciation that kept me tuning in. I felt understood when I would listen to you react to the soundtrack of my past, present & future. I was like, "Wow, he gets it, but how? He's just a kid." He's going through different decades of music (80s, 90s, 70s, 00s & on....)relating with his words actually emotions & feelings, I felt the first time I heard this track. You quickly became special just because of that & getting glimpses of your personality brought it home for me. The way you understood the joy & pain, the heartbreak & sadness, the beauty & betrayal, the love & spiritual messaging that flowed through the lyrics, the rhythm & the production of different song songs connected me to your channel. I remember some of us would constantly comment how you understood lyrics & you constantly pointed out you're more of a production guy. Okay, you win Jack, lol😁. But you were right. I learned so much on this channel without trying to. Your music reactions brought joy, positive energy & laughter. It was so much fun. Your music reactions were like a gift that I looked forward to & now I will treasure with all my heart. I am 40 now and I'm still subscribed. Even if you didn't receive a dime from the ADs, i appreciate your in depth analysis on classic jams. And the way you described the beats. You really can’t spend all day recording, editing etc without getting paid for it, so I understand. I didn’t realise how little reactors were valued by YT. I would expect some of the money would go to the songwriters or record label, but not all. There’s no reason to unsubscribe from your channel. How you (seemingly) enjoyed reacting to new music is amazing, considering you were putting in so much time for so little in return. Know that your followers/ fans do appreciate your reactions because of the way you analyse and notice things we don’t. I've been watchin for a long time..since u were sitting in the car in the garage or not in the garage but in the car with longer hair...ur reactions and ear for music have always been top tier💯I hate to hear u haven't been gettin paid for all the work u have been putting in..u ABSOLUTELY deserve to be paid for what u do so I completely understand the pivot and will still follow..it is sad to see someone have to stop doin what they like doin because the bigger entity isn't bein fair..but I welcome the vlogs and getting to know u that way..thank u for the time and effort u put into ur reactions..being a 50+ yr old woman..u definitely always gave me good nostalgia vibes..an u probably turned some onto music they know nothing about so Thank u Jack❤️🔥💯

I am one of those who enjoyed your reactions for many years sharing the love of music. IMO you were such a kind; humble and talented person and I am not suprised by this video. In fact, I thought it already happened. This is a great part of growth and I am proud of this step you have taken. You are taking control of your life doing what you think is best. My problem is I don't know much about other social media venues except I watch Instagram but I guess I will need to learn. It is great to support such a nice young man so I will go to Tiktok and check you out on that platform to continue support if the content interest me. "This is Jack Reacts" will always play in my head. I've stumbled upon your channel years ago when you reacted to a Mariah song. I'm a huge lamb and always appreciated you reacting to her and love that she's hands down who you reacted to the most. The QUEEN! Haha. I then started, watching your other reactions to some of my other favorite artists that I love (BLAQUE for example). I'm a 40 yo white man and grew up listening to that 90s R&B, and it's hands down the best era of music. There is nothing like it! It was so cool to see a younger person experience the songs I've listened to hundreds of times be experienced by someone for the first time. It made me feel like I was actually getting into it for the first time on a way (weird) but so cool. Anyway, man... absolutely appreciate this channel and thoroughly enjoyed your reactions, dude. I totally get where you are coming from on your decision and respect it. It was getting annoying to watch reactions (not just from you, but others) that were cut short or audio lowered due to copyright B.S. I'm sure that took a lot of the fun away from you as a producer of this content. I know other reactors that have stopped for the same reasons. I wish you luck with where you go from here and can't wait to hear about the other platform where you will occasionally do a reaction and I know for a fact there will be some future mariah reactions (she's got new music hopefully coming soon). I’m very sorry that you’re going through this with KZread, but I have heard other reaction channels say similar things to what you just said….I’ve been following your channel for the last year and you have quickly become one my favorite reaction channels, mainly because of the way you break songs down….i will continue to watch your channel for as long as it’s around.
