@jbmp1390

Addiction is a DISEASE bro. And it's a very hard one to come back from. I know from personal experience being addicted to opiates more than half my life. It's extremely hard to get people out of that. And it's even harder to convince someone to seek help when other parts of their lives are still functioning or even highly successful. Then there's the anxiety/depression that are often present as well and that makes it even harder to treat the addiction. If people with all the money in the world can't do it, then clearly we're still struggling to find the best ways to deal with this issue. Maybe preventable, but far less so than you might think. Sadly, there's a reason most addicts don't make it. It's a vicious, dangerous, and INSIDIOUS disease that I don't wish on anyone.

I really liked goldlink and was rooting for him. I didnt listen to mac miller back then and i teally didnt know what happened til a couple of years ago. Ill say this: everybody makes mistakes, it shouldnt be held over his head forever ❤
Just found your video's and I'm going down the rabbit hole. I love hip hop and I like how in-depth you get into it and great detail. Great content, keep it up
Hearing Mac call the Divine Feminine “sacred towards the female” made me want to cry. I miss him so much and the positivity he brought to the music game.

Crazy. I actually saw Gold Link open for Mac in the Good AM tour. The Detroit ticket had Gold Link, Denzel, Joey Badass and Mac
He did say that at a show once after performing ROS he said he was going to do more live songs because there were barley any girls at the show he was performing at and it was awkward since he was performing a live song or something like that .

After The Weekend told the world Drake's "Take Care" album was basically all of his work. Why can't we Believe what Goldlink said about Mac? Just because Mac was loved doesnt mean he didn't take creative ideas from others, the industry is a shady place so why pick favorites?

But what if GoldLink was just telling the truth? How do we know Mac Miller didn’t bite off GoldLink’s idea? Look, I love Mac Miller’s music and I think he seemed like a good and amazing person but that doesn’t mean he was perfect and didn’t do anything shady. All I’m saying is we seem to deify people who have passed on when in reality they were just people like everyone else who made mistakes along with the great things they did.
I kind of want to play devil's advocate because the "what if" is a pretty intriguing outcome to think about.
Wasn't even a fan of Mac like that, but you could FEEL that he was different. Hearing him ask what he could do for the culture was enormous.

Please nobody is envious of Mac. 😂
Something like this shouldn't be a career ender for him in my opinion. While what he said about Mac was pretty messed up due to timing, I think his career turning out the way it did is even more messed up when there are plenty of rappers that are just awful people and have done heinous things, but have no trouble getting positive attention from rap fans. Honestly, I still like his music and his last few albums are still better than a lot of what's blowing up in the mainstream, shame he can't escape this shadow and no one really gives him his flowers.
mattyballz really does ball.

This is actually how the beef of Goldlink and Anderson Pask came to the surface. They used to be friends.
I was just wondering where GoldLink was a couple days ago. Thanks Matty
What if he was just telling his truth tho? People get in their feelings when people pass away but just because someone is dead doesn’t mean they are in the right in every situation. If Mac Miller stole from him, it should be told because nobody has this level of grace when black artists die.

Why wait 3 years after the release of the album and 1 year after the passing to release this info he had 2 years to talk to him face to face man to man instead of giving him back hand compliments saying he’s proud that’s what make goldlinks comment unexplainable
I unfortunately wasn’t into Mac’s music that deep during his life. I’m a bit older. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of diving into his music. Thankfully I’ve never even heard of Goldlink until this video. His post was wild! He was obviously seething for a long time. He could’ve just kept quiet and rode that wave for the rest of his life but he just couldn’t do it. Fucking bozo
