    Yo. Just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm praying for things to move smoothly for you. I'm a youtuber myself and I can say that some of your content inspired my own. So I wanted to personally say thank you for the content that you have created over the years thus far. It's upsetting to hear you're in such a rough spot right now, and hearing everything about your mom really made me reflect on my own relationships and how thankful I am to have my family members here, because nothing last forever. You never know what the end of an Era brings until it's already over, and by then the next is already beginning. I wish you the best, I hope some day you'll have some stability and that you'll be able to come back and pursue your creative ventures. I'll be waiting for when you do.

    I'm sorry for your lost. Your Definitive videos are what introduced me and what made me appreciate the things I love. I was hopeful you may make more in the future but if not, what you made is what I appreciate. Thank you, blaze. Looking forward to your future and what that entails.

    Blaze, you've been my friend for longer than I can remember. I want you to know you're brave as hell to do this, to bare your soul like this before everyone. You're stronger than you know. You're gonna get through this.

    Keep your head up Blaze. Life can be difficult, but be happy and thankful you were able to be with her when she really needed someone in her final days. You're going to do good things and I hope nothing but the best.

    I wasn't able to watch through the whole video, but my God, what a terrible tragedy! As glad as I am that she no longer has to go through all that pain, I am so sorry for your loss! I'm sending my love and support, and really hope your life has an upswing after all that suffering. Seems you're really overdue for some good ❤️

    Cannot state enough how deeply sorry I am for your loss; not that anything about the situation is "good", but it is at least slightly comforting to know the worst of the suffering was only brief. I've been a fan of yours since like...2010 and you've inspired me a lot in my creative process for videos and games, and I can't wait to see what super cool things you do next I don't know if we'd necessarily count as "friends", but I'm always only a message away if you ever need to talk

    I'm so sorry for you loss my man. The next chapter in your life will be one that will make your mother proud! Though honestly from the sounds of it, she was already quite proud of you and your love for her is apparent. My man take your time, get everything figured out, I'll look forward to your new videos when they come. Seriously man good luck with wherever life takes you next!

    Roughly an hour in; I can't really say much except give my condolences. We've interacted on Twitter sporadically (I go by a Saturn on there) but I had no idea any of this was going on. Legit wish the best for you going forward, man.

    From someone in a similar situation, thanks for all you've made over the years. I wish you could have been luckier (and maybe you will be in the future), but if nothing else, know that your videos have been a bright spot in a lot of darkness. Sounds melodramatic typed out, but the chance to just sit down and obsess about how to properly make a game about a cartoon hedgehog has been a welcome distraction. Glad you still have people, and I wish you the best wherever you end up.

    So sorry for your loss Blaze, i really mean it, you are such a nice guy and seeing this is such a heart wrenching feeling man, you always were my great inspiration with fan gaming in general, literally i played all your Sonic fan games and always wanted to do something as cool as the things you did like Shadow of a Hedgehog even if it was just a parody game, and The Fated Hour was something i always was very impressed with. Those things inspired me to do my clunky ass janky mess of a fan game Sonic Gijinka and finally putting that thing in SAGE for all people to riff it out in the end, was pretty mad at that time because people thought it was a huge mess of a game, but later on i did understood why people were saying that, but like you well said there is always a silver lining and the silver lining of that was that while people thought my stuff was a mess i made a fan game for SAGE, never in my life i did something like that even if it was janky that game meant a lot to me becuase i really wanted to make something like you did, just i didnt had the expertise to do it. You are a really important person and its a shame that horrible things happends to people as nice and cool like you, but at least you are ok and that's all that matters, might not be too much bud but im really glad to had know you for as long as i did even if you felt like you was in arrested development you did had a huge impact at least on me. Take care Blaze, im hope wherever you are and whatever you do you succed at it, until we meet again.

    Truly sorry for your loss, Blaze. I'm in a similar situation with my mother, but I did get a full-time job that pays decently and she's still quite healthy. Seems to me like your skillset and tendency towards perfectionism might get you a good job, although chances are you'll have to work on projects that you aren't passionate about, at least at first. Anyways, stay strong and stay safe.

    Not to sound repetitive, but I'm sorry for your loss of someone so important to you, who supported and encouraged you and your efforts so wholehearted. I hope you find the time and energy to do the things you love again soon. I think you will, sooner than you think, because you have a creative spark that fights to get out all the time. Best of luck with what comes next, and all your friends are here for you.

    55:55 I don't know why this made me so sad Maybe it's me self inserting into the people who have looked to me and seen magical futures of unlimited potential, and never lived (or stayed in my life) to see anything like what they believed in materialize. I hope you the best, and for the record I've been here quite some time kind of semi actively watching, and I truly believe that you really could be "one of those famous youtube people" etc.

    I don't think you need to apologize for being a downer when you're talking about the death of your mother. Kind of comes with the territory, y'know? As for the rest of it, and with apologies for taking so long to write this, I'll tell you what I tell Webcomics artists when they go on hiatus: I appreciate all the work you put into everything you've made. While I understand the frustration of not being able to make the stuff you want to make as fast as you want to make it, your "real" life, your health, and your ability to support yourself all come first, way ahead of entertaining strangers on the Internet. You don't owe me anything. And I've been following your blogs ever since the demise of BumbleKing and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. Also, at the risk of completely missing the point, would it be possible to burn your game footage to a DVD and play it back on the TV?

  • @BlazeHedgehog

    @BlazeHedgehog

    2 жыл бұрын

    It wouldn't really be possible to burn the footage to DVD, no. I mean, that would definitely work. But it's an old TV, so that would mean hooking up my VCR, so I could hook the DVD player up to the VCR, and that's a lot for the position I was in at the time.

  • @reversalmushroom

    Something you might consider for helping your reviews is just downloading KZread videos instead of recording game footage yourself. Lots of people do it, and no one cares, and you can always give credit just in case you're afraid anyone will complain. I mean, that would save a huge chunk of time, and if it's either this or don't make them, then it seems you have no other choice. Anyway, I'm very sorry all this has happened. I hope you're okay and find happiness with whatever you do, regardless of if it's KZread or not.

  • @BlazeHedgehog

    @BlazeHedgehog

    I've thought about that, but recording my own footage is a point of pride. And it helps when I want to show something specific. I often write scripts around things I want to go out of my way to record. Same reasons why I don't often source footage from friends who are willing to help me record. Scrubbing through someone else's footage looking for something relevant might take just as long.
