@@Freebands460 you gotta be under 20 years old lol because KENTUCKY BASKETBALL was a HUGE deal for calipari and when the job came open in 1989 rick pitino was just fallng apart waiting on a call from lexington and when the job opens up this year, we'll have the very best options, but if we wait until next year or the year after, cal will be toast and the louisville job is already coming up and ucla and other big name schools are gonna be looking for good coaches so i think that its best that we get somebody before the pool starts to thin.

Nobody ever wants to talk negative about Coach K it’s hilarious. You think of how long he stayed at Duke and never had a bad recruiting class. I can’t listen to Duke basketball fans because they always like someone else in football and jump conferences 😂 it’s always the same teams too Duke,Bama,Cowboys and Yankees 😂

Difference is... them UK players be real deal NBA players, them Duke kids don't be shit. Kyrie is like the last Duke player that was a real NBA talent and Kyrie didn't even fit the Duke mold. With the talent that Cal has he should have won at least 3-4 championships by now

Having 10 rotations in the first half is uncanny. I’m not sure what’s up with the pick and roll defense, in which they get burned every game. Cal just may have ran his course. I do hope he can right the ship.

The Yankees Kentucky Basketball Program comparison pre-dates Cal. Do some digging. We have 8 titles. Cal has 1 of them. He didn’t make KY. KY made him. He is a good recruiter, but only an average basketball coach. Just a fact. With the talent he has had, he should have 3 titles minimum.

Bro Kentucky was a top program long before coach Cal got there. If he leaves they will still get top recruits (maybe not as many) they will still be relevant. They literally have more wins than any other college basketball program.

Cal did not make Kentucky a premiere team. Kentucky made cal a premiere coach if anything. He was established before coming to UK but he wasn’t premiere. Kentucky on the other hand was a power house before Cal.

The real problem is when players leave college after one or three years. It takes time to build a championship team. I can understand the transfer portal. Many good players don’t have success with their previous teams.

It's been said by past coaches at UK 10 years is the max. The pressure from the fan base becomes too much and the last 4-5 have been unacceptable from the fans. So it shows history has been correct with that, but also in defense there is no such thing as a PRO sports team in the state. Nothing, so they pour it all into this.

The players always seem to be confused and out of position.

Calipari was able to become the best basketball recruiter because he went to Kentucky. Kentucky attracts top talent regardless. I love what he’s done for the Cats but he has underperformed per UK standards. In his defense, it’s hard to coach a brand new team every year. With that said, this is Kentucky basketball, we’re used to being a final 4 team yearly. I think he just needs to find some guys who will stick around for a couple of years but with the transfer portal the whole CBB scene is changing and it may benefit coach Cal. This year’s team hasn’t found its best combination of players on the court. The Gonzaga game he used to test out different combinations like he’s done in the past because it was a non conference game. Last game the defense stepped up more than they have all year. To sum it up, we have to trust his process this year and make a decision afterwards. The Indiana State coach is someone who would fit the Kentucky standard if a new coach was the route they chose to take. Ps #BBN4L win or lose.

Youngster you are young...history tells us college all star teams don't win championships. Who are your role players when they are all stars. Are all these players really care about winning a championship for UK or just going being to the NBA. He got too much talent, sometimes u need role players not just an all star teams. The one question how is teams with less talent always beating UK in the tournament...it's because they are real team coached as a team, not a group of all stars who are playing for the draft..not UK!

Cal can't coach, hell of a recruiter and motivator but coaching... NAH. Cal should have at least 3-4 championships over his time in Kentucky. He's had the BEST talent and best NBA talent at that, not those guys (Duke and NC) who are good college players and aren't worth a damn as a Pro, ALL NBA guys year in year out. Kentucky was the winningest program in college ball before Cal, they were a premiere program before he got there and the "reason" he says he left a better situation at Memphis to go there. Cal ain't make nothing at UK, he's only GREATLY underachieved and kept the hype train rolling. With that being said I don't recommend firing him though (and they won't) because it's hard to find a level of success and relevancy in this sport let alone maintain it for this long. Look how things were after Pitino up until Cal got there. Yea they won with Tubby but that was Pitino's team and he was shown the door shortly thereafter. They'll fizzle out early again this year and we'll do all this again next season

People glossing over Elite 8s in 2017 and 2019 like they don't count. I don't get how Kentucky fans fail to compare and contrast with Louisville and count their blessings. Definitely some Xs and Os mistakes I saw in the game vs. my favorite team (Zags), but glad you're more reasonable than some of the Kentucky fans even if your video titles are clickbait. I think Kentucky needs someone like Riccardo Fois who's elite at video breakdown and exchange with players. Maybe a defensive coordinator like Donny Daniels.

The problem is simple, he’s loyal to the players, not the team. That’s great for the players but not so much for us fans. That’s also a big part of the reason KY gets so many top recruits.
