The Empire Was Right - The Series - Order 66 and Endor
The Empire Was Right - The Series
The video is done in fun to show both how propaganda can be used to spin anything and that there are some plot holes in Star Wars. Rebuttal and sequel videos are being planned, so feel free to leave a comment and I may discuss it in long form.
This video dives into what led to Palpatine being justified in initiating Order 66 and the justification of what happened to the Jedi afterwards. The video also covers the Battle on Endor from Return of The Jedi to show how corrupt and violent the rebels and Jedi are.
For over four decades, there has been debate on who the true villains and heroes of the Star Wars Saga are. With over 10 minutes of content and discussion, I feel that a fair argument can be made in favor of The Empire.
I am not implying that the empire, sith, or their associates are perfectly good and I am not saying the jedi, rebels, or their associates are purely evil. But each side sits squarely on a spectrum. With the empire leaning towards the morally justified side and and the rebels and jedi leaning more towards war mongering blood thirsty side.

One thing I noticed you forgot to mention. Once the rebellion succeeded in ending the empire, the failed to have a plan to establish a new government. This in turn left a power vacuum that opened the door for the first order to take power. The galaxy should be fortunate that a criminal empire like the Hutts or the Black Sun didn't take the opportunity to take power, or maybe they did.
Thank you for your bravery in speaking truth! Emperor Palpatine ascended to power by being duly elected, while the Rebels attempted to overthrow the legitimate government through terrorist activities, and using Ewok meat-shields. Long live the Benevolent Empire! :)

I honestly think that by the time of Endor the empire had the right to shoot at the rebels from first contact.
The Jedi left all those younglings alone in the temple, with clearly no guards to look after them, in the middle of a war. They put them in danger, and when Anakin showed up you could see that they were so scared, they asked Anakin what they were going to do, but I think they knew the truth at that point: there was no escape. The enemy had them surrounded and it was only a matter of time until they were captured, tortured and then executed or sold into slavery. Anakin knew it too, which is why he did what he did. Killing them was a mercy at that point. In short the Empire saved those younglings from an even worse fate than what awaited tem if they had been allowed to be captured by the Empire.
I laughed at “Sidebar- *covers whole scene of Palpatine slaughtering squad of Jedi*”
Lol @ "the Jedi version of the Hitler-youth". Nice comparison.
I mean, this is all great, but it kinda ignores that Palpatine himself engineered the crisis which led to him getting emergency powers.

Good video I like the series. BUT can you adjust the mic volume? I have my speakers cranked up in order to hear. Keep it up good work
Legends Grievous’ backstory is the best example of why the Empire was right to come to existence. The Huk tricked the Jedi and the Republic into thinking the Kaleesh were the baddies, when they were really fighting to save themselves from slavery and famine! So the old Jedi Order and the Republic were blinded by their own vows for peace to notice the true story.

The fact that the Ewoks can communicate and build houses shows that they are intelligent enough to understand morality, but after convincing them they where gods, the rebels further encouraged the Ewoks barbaric behavior, this is like finding a village of cannibals, using technology to threaten them into war, then making them perform human sacrifice of your now defenseless enemies

All the benevolent Empire asked in return was to position a shield generator there. Seems more than fair. But NO! Those annoying little furbags turn against their benefactors. Total ingrates.
After watching the series thus far, i can certainly see your perspective. It indeed comes from a pragmatic view of their situation. While war is ultimately pointless, in the fray, reason would be needed. Though, it's probably more as Machiavelli first envisioned.
