Several of them have had such dicey and danger-filled beginnings, as well... It's wonderful to see how they welcomed Baby K in as family from the start. ❤😊 I love those early videos.

What I like about Kumbura is the softness of her gaze and of course her empathy and dedication to her two younger sisters little Miss Sunshine and Timi I also like that she sometimes allows herself little getaways ❤🐘🐘🐘❤️ She has damaged one of her tusks (right) Hope it is not serious

I see that Timisa 🐘 got a little one on one with Adine without Khaynisa 🐘 around 😂. All the elephants 🐘 look happy that it was overcast and drizzling wetting their body's. These are the kind of HERD videos I can put on a loop, kick back in my recliner, close my eyes and relax just listening to these gorgeous gentle giants walking through the bushveld. No music. No traffic or any other human made noises that would interfere in the tranquility of these moments. Adine’s voice speaking to each elephant as the draw bear and the background of the carers directing their charges does not distract in any way from the perfection of this video. Thank you HERD! I do love you all!

Kumbura is so beautiful! But it would seem she broke the tip of her perfect right tusk! She’s always my favorite! Her eyes speak volumes!

She very likely damaged it while foraging its not an uncommon occurrence as elephants use their tusks similar to how we use our hands(much like we are left or right handed an elephant can be left or right tusked)which is pretty interesting🌻🐘

They always group together to come home. I love this!

I bet its humid there, as it is here. Kumbura right tusk tip has broken off. Glad to see your gerting some rqin.

Watching them walk by, one by one, I get a better sense of their sizes. It’s impossible to know size without references, relationships. After the lesson re elephant poop awhile ago, I spotted an elephant pooping and peeing at the same time. That’s a bull, right? I 💕everything about elephants. I 💕you guys! 💋💋

Oh, Kumbura's tusk has flaked. Not bad, but the tip is off.

I just finish watching various animals eating ripe marula fruit. They were so drunk. The ellies were on their knees bum up in the air steady eating. The monkeys could not walk and the wart hogs were stumbling and could not walk straight.

Does the herd walk home faster to get to the food at their stables than the speed at which they normally walk?

For such huge animals it’s amazing you could say in a sense how light on their feet and kinda glide so beautiful to watch their unhurried walk. I wonder do you get many thunderstorms and lightning and if so I guess it’s no issue to the Ellie’s or a bit of a concern because out in the open?

Adine and the carers only use simple IPhones to take videos they don’t have any extra equipment like microphones or microphone covers (they recently had a phone drive where supporters donated older still decently working phones so that the carers could have more opportunities to film too)When Adine is there she will use her phone the team does their very best with what they have and they do a very good job as well.🐘😊
