I' m literally at loss for words. The documentary is extremely engrossing to watch. Every scene bedazzled me to my core. And the beauty of remaining jungles swept me off my feet. It's a pity that ones vast swathes of land are shrinking and those unique animals have no other option but to extinct. Thank you for raising our awareness of this pressing issue. I hope that there is still something that can be done to at best stop or at least slow this process.

We are all evil, bad people (sinners) who do not fit God's standard of holy. If God put a mirror in front of us, our wickedness would be exposed. There is a punishment for our disobedience towards God. Just like how a parent would punish their disobeying child... there is a punishment for our disobedience towards God. The punishment is eternal separation from Him. We would end up in hell. There was no hope for us. But instead of leaving His creation with no hope, God said He will make a way for His creation to be righteous before Him and that was through Jesus Christ. Sin had to be punished. So God sent His Son Jesus Christ to take the sins of the world upon Himself. Jesus took the punishment of sin on Himself yet,He was a sinless Man. But Jesus took our place -- He became your sins -- so that you would not have to pay the price of sin that you deserve to pay. That was our punishment. But God loved us so much that He sent Jesus Christ to take our place for us. They really amped it up by the late 90's and now the area of Ohio I live in has been stripped of so much land it looks like nothing but ugly buildings and concrete everywhere, the heck of it is nobody even visits these mammoth size malls they built anymore along with a lot of the other things they built....man will eventually destroy itself...

I've always admired and respected David Attenborough, he is one of a kind. His lifes work is astonishing. He could read the phone book and make it sound interesting, How he and his camera crew get up close and personal to the animals and wildlife is nothing short of bloody amazing ! And the amazing out of this world shots they take, is just incredible.

Honestly it's a bit condescending to hear somebody like attenborough blame humans for all the devastation to plant and animal life, only to be taking plane flights all over the planet. It's almost like he's also a part of the problem. He's getting a paycheck. Stop kissing up to someone who's hardly worthy of it. He's just as much a hypocrite as the people he's blaming during the video and he's incredibly rich. He probably has a much larger carbon footprint than people much less wealthy than he is. Like his work and enjoy the content, but my god is it sad to see so many comments praising a dude who literally commentates over videos of animals, pointing fingers at everybody else when he is no better. It's no better than a liar calling out another liar for lying.

Re-learning about the devastating 90% loss of our island's rainforests break my heart. As someone who grew up in an area surrounded by mountains and thick forests, I witnessed how agriculture has turned the lush forests into dry and unsustainable farming lands for corn. I remember witnessing huge fires that will last for days, and hear chainsaw machines from afar, the sound of falling trees, and the ground rumbling because of huge trucks passing by carrying logs. The mountain which was green the first time I saw it, has slowly turned brown and lifeless as the years passed by. It has made a huge impact not just in the biological sphere in my town but also the typhoons that were hitting my area are more disastrous each year. Floods are reaching areas that are higher, landslides happen more often during rainy season, and droughts are causing the loss of a thousands if not millions of crops. It's devastating, and I think that one lifetime is not enough to restore what was lost due to human activity.

3% greed. 97% human necessity. People have to eat, and need to be able to produce things of value to trade for what they need to survive. Don't oversimplify things, please. It's just virtue-signaling, and achieves nothing. What is your solution? To cut the human population down by 75%? Who decides who dies? You?

I was speaking more about living space, agricultural acreage, fishing, and things like that. Please don't point to the least reasonable example you can come up with and try to create that motive in my words. That's REALLY dishonest, kid. If that's how you have discussions, I'm not going to listen to anything you have to say. it's grossly immoral.

@@herbsuperb6034 I understand your point and that u have no ill motive bro chill. the things you're talking about can be done in a way more sustainable way. (See "our planet high seas" ) we humans overfish and go extreme with the deforestation for agriculture. Yes we do need these for survival, but its not just done for the sake of survival. The people who do these expect a profit too, since they need to survive too right. If you see it that way, the whole political, ideological and scientific way of humans developing their way of living is very unsustainable and messed up.
