I wanted something to chill to but ended up crying. Man I miss my skyrim days. I just remember being on my xbox 360, in front of my tv, all the lights turned off, and getting immersed into this magical world for hours and hours until the sun rose. I was so obsessed with this game I thought about it all day and night. When I closed my eyes I could literally see skyrim. It was amazing. This was the game that introduced me to the world of gaming and it will always have a very special place in my heart.

Skyrim is one of a kind. I hear one song and immediately get transferred to freshman year of high school when it came out. I miss how it felt to play through the first time. And hear these songs, not thinking much about how they would become so iconic.

I have never played Skyrim. In what moment does this song play in the game? Is it a scripted moment or is it when you step foot on that city? How far into the game is this song played?

I would do anything to go back to 2011 and replay this game. Coming home from school and just having a blast with this game will always be a cherished memory

I’ve always found it hard to define how this song feels in words. The best way I’ve seen it said is that this song is the sound of a happy memory. Sad that it’s gone, but beautiful that it happened.

I remember, I just came back from a tour overseas with the Army and living in my sister's basement. I was unemployed and had no idea how I was going to pay bills or make something of myself. I poured so much time into this game at a place in my life when I should have been scared, unsure and concerned about the future. But I'll be damned if this wasn't one of the best year's of my life. It sounds cliche, but Bethesda got me through a rough patch. You the man, Uncle Todd.

2024 in my 30ṣ and still remember the days playing this game, brought a tear to my eye, it was my place of peace i haven't played in 5 years, i think its to relive it teach my boy the way of skyrim............then come back to this channel in 15 years and enjoy a beer with my boy and reminisce.

When I started playing this game soon after it was released years ago, I had no idea it would end up becoming such an important memory in my life. This soundtrack isn't just gorgeous, it reminds me of what I turned to for comfort in my adolescence. I know Bethesda has indicated they are working on another game and I'm hoping I can enter this universe again soon. It's so nice to read these comments and see I was not alone in how I felt about this game. Love you all.

I live in ESO - every day I walk around in the game. If you think Skyrim is beautiful (which it is), come and visit Alik'r, Clockwork City, Auridon, Wrothgar ... the list is so long, and I have found so many breathtaking views while wandering all across Tamriel. And, of course, I keep bumping into M'aiq. I am no longer sure he is a liar :-)

There is something about Skyrim's soundtrack, particularly the exploring tracks, that immediately lowers my stress levels. Putting this these tracks on a loop is almost guaranteed to help me sleep when my insomnia kicks in. At work, with this playing quietly in the background, I find I can focus better. Plus, of course, the good memories of exploring Skyrim while hearing these tracks in the background. Thank you for this respite in a crazy world.
