    These gentlemen clearly know their craft, but there's very little discussion about the creative side of editing in this conversation. Future editors need to take note of that and decide whether they are looking to "play around on the computer" as Jared Simon said, or whether they want to edit film for the love of art. These men seem more like employees (hence the attraction to Avid) rather than artists or creators. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but it's noteworthy.
