The edge of the universe
Full video of @TheInstituteOfArtAndIdeas video
"Oxford maverick physicist David Deutsch, leading cosmology theorist George Ellis and theoretical physicist and origin of life expert Sara Walker debate whether the notion of infinity is a key insight into the character of the universe, a mathematical artefact, or simply nonsense. Hosted by the renowned public intellectual, writer and producer Robert Lawrence Kuhn."

Wonderful
This video was behind a paywall last time I checked. Thanks you for making it accessible.
Hello there distant channel in a far off corner of youtube. Thank you so much for posting this video! Were it not for you, I may never have seen it, and I subscribe and contribute to the IAI! Sara and David are two of my favorite thinkers currently, but both of them end up in discussions with parties that only sort of understand their areas of focus. This discussion feels like a chat amongst peers, and peers with differing views at that! What a gem.
Thanks 🙌
Robert kuhn is a good person I remember the episode of CTT where linde and tipler debated there were some other amazing guests on that panel show- but Mr kuhn is dedicated, like the Templeton to finding evidence for the existence of god
George Ellis is tuned with the vision of PIETRO UBALDI. The solutions to the problem of infinity x finity is in the book THE GREAT SYNTHESIS
What I take issue with here as a philosopher is the incorrect notion that they are only doing metaphysics when they’re speculating. In my view, they have all of them already done metaphysics, or it has been done TO them, which has determined how they interpret the facts.
Sara made so much more sence than the others!!!
