I lived on Oahu for quite a few years and always wished I would be lucky it would happen while I was there. Never got the chance but watching it here helps me not feel as sad.

Frame 13:20😳🤯 look at all that whitewater and the size of the waves compared to the tower in the background. I think this shows the scale more than anything I've seen. It's a mountain of whitewater..incredible 🙏

Watching this in South Africa while the biggest swell of the season is hitting in the morning. Perfect inspiration.

If I'm being perfectly honest...these are some of the bravest and dumbest people on earth...lol. You gotta be a bit touched to even get out in those waves let alone surf them. I was there once with 20ft swells. I've been on a Boston whaler in 40ft storm swells and the only time I've ever felt seasick...was on the North Shore just looking at the ocean! The violence of those waves. Hates of to these guys. I've done some crazy dangerous stuff for the thrill but...I ain't got the balls to go out there. Just haven't hit that level of crazy yet...lol.

If you don't want to talk about who won and its about Kai fine but that leaderboard ending was hella sheisty And I love Kai and I bet he is way more interesting to fans than Luke, but don't try to trick people at the end on results. This the wrong audience bro.

@Fishifyed it's not hating on anyone, it's suggesting a show of respect for the 4 guys that finished ahead of Kai. The editors of this video know they overdubbed that narration to make it seem as if Kai won. It's disrespectful to the winner and the event. Kai should have more integrity.
