The Easy Way To Find Your Husqvarna Automower's Underground Boundary & Guide Wires

A lot of people ask how they can tell where the boundary and guide wires for their Husqvarna Automower are at once they are buried? This is a question seems to come up the most in the spring and fall when the land owner wants to aerate the lawn without the risk of damaging the wires. In this video we are going to show you haw to use your Husqvarna Automower to show you where the wires are located in the ground. This is a very good trick to know not only for marking the wires for aeration, but is also great for locating wires before edging flower beds, planting trees or shrubs, adding a pool, or any other items to your lawn that require any type of excavation. The key to using the mower to find the wires is having wires that are properly functioning. This will not find a break in a wire or work on any wires that have a break in them. Remember to, that the mower will follow next to the boundary wire at about 1/2 of the width of the mower away from the actual wire.

This is AWESOME! We have a soccer field with 3 of the 450's and I looked like an idiot out there last spring with my AM radio searching for and marking lines for the turf aerator guy. Thank you so much, definitely going to use this method this spring!

Great video thanks. I bought the 430x I looked at the Stihl iMow but I have a few tight areas to get through and the guide wires on the 430x are perfect for this. Sadly the Husqvarna customer service were not that good, I asked them about using guide wires to navigate to certain areas and the were very vague. Your videos are great many thanks.

Great information. I checked my guide and boundary loop as described and they both are solid green. I tried using the Test guide wire method as described with my 310 but it ask to have the mower in the docking station, then it tells me to press start. The mower then begins cutting and does not run the guide test. Any differences with the 310?

Vos sabes que hago tal cual todo el procedimiento para que el robot Automower que tengo, que es un am430x busque los cables enterrados, y sucede que cuando pongo test, Star, ok, y cierro la tapa, el robot en vez de ir por encima del cable entera, sale a cortarme el césped. Cual puede ser el error ? Corrobore el ancho del pasillo, lo puse en 0, y probé tanto con cable derecho, y con el cable izquierdo. También le anule la funcion del gps. No entiendo cual sería el problema. Podrían ayudarme ?

How do you find where the guide wire is broken at?
You do great videos BUT here in Canada Husqvarna rep and local seller stores are useless. Was wanting to buy at least 1 but likely two mowers this year and another 1 or 2 for our farm area next year IF the machines worked as expected and IF service was good. One seller would not come out and was not very knowledgeable about installation. The other came out but 3 months later i have yet to get a price quote even after calling twice. I can only assume Husqvarna Canada is not interested in selling here. I will go to a competitor. Interesting during Covid create stresses for companies that have caused many to close. I guess spending 15 to 20k dollars is not important.

Any ideas why a guide wire might not work even though it has a signal ? I test it going out 100m and it goes around 2m and start cutting. Recalibrates successfully but same issue
