Fingers crossed you get the weather for the Cuillin mate. Got rained off my traverse on Thursday, had enough weather windows to bag the Munros, thankfully. Got the last 5 to do tomorrow including the Pinn, weathers looking spot on for it up to now 😎

What fabulous conditions. Just as good in its way as wall to wall sunshine. One of my favourite ranges - the Mamores have so much to offer. The Cuillin are definitely something else, interesting whatever the weather, but even better when you get the views. Enjoy.

Thanks for a super day in the mountains while I recuperate from my new knee operation. Unlike another channel I follow which keeps you guessing as where you are for nearly half the video, I appreciate the clear outline of where you are going which serves to whet the appetite. Good luck on Skye.

Another great day in the mountains James. Brought back happy memories of my 1st time doing the 4 in a day there back in September 1993. Was a settled spell of weather and we were camping in Glencoe. We did the other 7 Mamores the next day. This was before one of the peaks got downgraded from Munro status. My old knees wouldn't manage two back to back days like that now! Looking forward to seeing your Skye trip. ATB Derek

Good hills! I did these four together but the opposite way round. Like you I was in cloud on Nan Gruagaichean, and I set off for Aonach Mor and walked off the hill down the wrong ridge! Only realised when I popped out of the cloud, thankfully not too far down. Thanks for sharing.

Hi James, I have been watching your videos for quite some time now, and I have to say, I have thoroughly enjoyed each and everyone. I like your approach in tackling the mountains, particularly so when you encounter genuine risk and opt for the safer option. This is something my fiancée takes great comfort from, as she does worry for me, as like you, I climb the Munros alone and very much eliminate risk. I see you are fast approaching the 200 mark, which is fantastic. I am very much looking forward to your Skye encounter, as I have not been on Skye yet and I know it will be my biggest test. I reached my 200 mark only a couple of weeks ago but my remaining 82 are magnificent mountains. Fingers crossed for you with the weather on Skye and I am sure you will have a great trip.

Another lovely film James. I am really enjoying your walking exploits. Over 30 years ago I did Binnein More and Na Gruagaichean in June and it snowed on the tops! My chances of completing the Munro's is almost zero, so I do them online instead lol. Good luck with Skye, especially with the weather! Have you considered doing a short video on what food and drink you take with you.
