The Easiest Way to EDIT a Podcast // How to Edit a Podcast Quick

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Whether you've been podcasting on your smartphone or using Audacity, you know at this point that editing audio using an app is not very practical or efficient.
Also, Audacity has so many workarounds and limitations that it can make the most patient person wanting to throw the computer across the room.
This is why in this video the Pod Sound School team shows you the easiest and fastest way to edit your podcast. So let's ditch the app and the sucky DAW and learn how to edit using time-saving and easy-to-use tools.
In this video, Veronica records a little piece of audio using her phone and then Studio Steve shows her how to do some basic edits in her computer using Reaper. Reaper is the DAW we recommend our clients and students to use. Reaper is the most affordable, user-friendly, and reliable DAW for podcasting.

There’s a lot of benefits from having a podcast. 1.networking. You can choose to have an interview style podcast where you interview people in your industry and connect with them ( people tend to say yes to podcast interviews more than cold calls or dms). 2. Portable. Your audience can listen to you while doing chores, exercising, etc., 3. Strong community bond. No other medium will help you develop a stronger community than podcasting. Specially where you’re consistent with your show. Good luck Carl. Can’t wait to listen to your show. 😀

This is an interesting option, and the software seems reasonably complex. To minimise the number of software titles involved, would it be possible to record audio as well in Reaper? This would make Reaper my one stop solution for audio, after which I'd put the project together with video in Camtasia. Oh, sorry, and one more question: is there a way of making voice sound less podcast-like? It's because I am making tutorials, so the sound would be more lecture-like than a podcast.

Click the drop down menu next to audio system. If you're using your computer is default audio, you would choose WASAPI (Windows 7/8/10/Vista) from the drop-down list. I usually leave it on shared mode and default input/default output. Since most computers are stereo, input and output channels would be set to 2 by default. If you're using an audio interface and then you would select the ASIO option. And then click the drop down next to ASIO Driver, and choose your interface's driver from the list. You should speak of Reaper as your favorite audio editing tool. Your negative comments about never use Audacity turned me off of your podcast. I use Audacity and Anchor and it works great! So stop trying to sell Reaper and say it is your favorite, not that Audacity is no good! No subscription here.
