When I first moved to North Carolina I eagerly searched for a good Chinese restaurant. I tested the 4 restaurants in my small town and a couple in the larger city nearby but each time I was disappointed. I guess living in the NYC area for 35 years and 7 years in Seattle spoiled my palate. After watching your channel for the last year+ I no longer miss good Chinese food and I no longer miss my favorite Korean restaurant. I now feel comfortable cooking almost all of my favorite dishes and even some that I did not realize I would come to enjoy. Thank you and Claire for improving my cooking skills and my diet. Much good fortune to you both !

@@cherub2918 My air fryer (Instant brand) cooks fast so after I coated the chicken with the potato starch I let it sit at room temp for 10 minutes while the air fryer heated up to 350 deg F. I then coated the chicken pieces well with avocado oil spray and fried them for 6 minutes, turning them half way, then cooled them down to warm in the fridge and then resprayed them with oil and air fried them again at 400 deg F for 4 minutes. Overall the chicken turned out very crispy, but not as well browned as if it had been deep fried.

My wife is not a fan of too sweet dishes, if it must be sweet it must be light sweet like tiryaki, but with that much sugar, ketchup and honey isn't it too sweet?

Few things are easy the first time you try them, but Aaron makes it as easy as it can be. Each time I cook one of his recipes I improve my skills through practice. If you want it to be really easy, do it often, until it becomes a memory for your muscles. 😉
