The Easiest Nano Blackwater Aquarium

I made a natural blackwater aquarium in the easiest way I possibly could. I hate spending hours trying to follow the rules of aquascaping and decidng what I think looks good, so today I decided to ignore everything and just throw this together. So far I'm enjoying how it looks but I will have to wait until I add fish to see if I will keep it up long term. If you have any suggestions for what I should add leave them in the comments! I'm currently thinking some cherry shrimp and scarlet badis would be really cool.

That’s so cool honestly you should add black mollies or angelfish
Great tank 💕 I wish blackwater tanks were more popular. I would add a small group of tetras and a Betta Or some dwarf hatchetfish, but they jump through the smallest gaps lol

Yeah definitely I’m working on one right now! Just letting the plants grow in a bit and will be posting the vid probably some time next week

Thanks! The light is a Current USA Satellite and I have it on for about 7 hours per day

It works well but I think it’s a bit overpriced for a pretty standard LED light

Yeah I have plans for something like that I’m going to start working on soon. I’m going to turn an ikea cabinet into a paludarium
