I got ripped off buying a Ferrari in Paris for my son, which made me realize that the most profitable exotic car rental business model i've encountered is actually in Paris as well.

@@_baller you cant even do 2 laps on a track gor that price, let alone let loose in the streets lol. Theres so many variables when renting an exotic car, it basically turns into a mini vacation price to drive one for a day. Is it cool, hell ya, does it have a place, definitely. Is it realistic to rent a Lamborghini while on vacation for the week? Hell no. Not unless u actually have the money to burn which most dont. Im happy enough the 6 cyl mustang convertible for a 100 a day, n even that price isn't easy to get lol

@@todtalk3912 agreed. I rented through Turo twice on my trips to Miami. First time I managed to snag a GT3 for $330/day. Not quite that "exotic" but still a hell of a ride for looking richer than I am pulling up to client meetings (lol). Second time I was there on a pleasure trip after receiving a big promotion...went balls out on a Huracan Evo which set me back a little over $1k for the day. Poor financial decision? Maybe...but did I value the photos, stories, and experience of driving it? Absolutely!! Since then I've had way more payments to deal with so now I'm just happy with whatever mid-range sedan is cheap and delivered to the airport lmao

@@PropaneTreeFiddy lmao, ive been there bro. Ive had a 2013 535xi new, traded that in 2016 for a 17 330e (leased that) when the lease was up (actually mid lease because i was getting close to being way over at the end if i didnt) got myself a 2012 tacoma for 13k. I live in pa n needed a 4 wheel drive anyway. I sold that to carvana in October for 11,500 with 160k miles on it, it was going down hill at this point, still solid, but it was about to start eating my money. Then picked up hilariously enough, a 2010 subaru outback with 100k miles fir 5 grand off some old guy near me. Its been in this area its whole life, it had a fresh timing belt job, its actually a great car. I haven't felt the need to find anything else yet n am actually happy af not having a payment I think went through my needing nice cars n now dont give a f lol. Id still like to own a football field full of amazing cars, however, i dont want to do it at the expense of my future qnd realizing when im 35 i soent all my money on stupid shit n have next to nothing to show for it, oh wait... Its not to late to learn a lesson ever. Im the one who sits there as someone goes and buys a new 70k truck n i call them an idiot instead of being the idiot lol. Take it from me. Figure what you think you need, cut that in half n find the best thing you can fir that price. It never really dawned on me just how stupid I eas with my money and financially set I am, but my future would be secured right now had I dumped my money into something better.

This can work if you do it right. I did this in Prague with a Ferrari California and a Gallardo LP560-4. I would say 2 cars with two people is the best way to do it. Keep it relatively small. We would sit next to the customer in the car and show then how to drive the car and let them drive around the city. Make sure you have the right insurance and it goes without saying, make EVERYONE take a breathalyzer test before they even sign the contract because for some reason even when you tell the customer they will be required to take a breathalyzer test they will often still lie and say they haven't had a drink. If you are operating in a urban area using a governor isn't a bad idea either.

My parents will be shopping and grab a TV or something and I have to say put it back, you will have one at your door tomorrow for half that price. They were getting a new truck and they wanted my opinion. 3/4 ton new truck, how do you wrong. They were thinking of trading the current car in. The value they gave for trade in was 5 thousand dollars or more less than sold trucks that are the same. I told them I would buy it from them for a thousand more than any trade in offer because I know I can flip it. The point of saying that was not to really flip it but to prove a point that the trade in is not a good idea. They ended up getting 3 offers the first day they listed it. They got 6 thousand over trade in price. Thats a good chunk of money.

a ) Europe has much higher sales tax ( typically 20% ); b) If the store was on the Champs Elysee in the heart of Paris, it's **notorious** worldwide for over pricing c) for consumer sales in the European Union, you have 2 years - a full 2 years - to return the product if there is a defect. They have 30 days to repair it, or then they have to bring it back. So if you'll be doing your European Dreamcar trips, you can bring it back if any part of it breaks in the next 2 years. Proof of purchase doesn't only have to be the receipt : it can be your credit card bill. Just FYI
