Theres some things I need to address Just so everyone knows, the 2007 build suits are not entirely accurate. For context, it’s a mod that restores textures from the pre alpha and applies it to the pre-existing batman model. So the model isn’t entirely accurate but the textures including the logo are. Of course, the makers of the mod couldn’t entirely recreate the original model since that would simply be too difficult. A small note, the Dark Knight game did release in the most technical way possible, because it only released on Java flip phones by Glu. At least, I assume the two projects were intended to be ports of one another, similar to the Begins game.

I would’ve LOVED a Gotham by gaslight game. The comic was absolutely sick, and it’s a shame that it was never made. At least we got asylum.

I mean, maybe. But that kind of game is so niche that I don't know how you could expect sales of that beyond a very small, dedicated group of people. Asylum is exactly what needed to be made. Lots of villains, Batman acts the way you expect, no big setting gimmicks. No weird elseworlds context needed.

Arkham Asylum is my favorite in the series and has remained that since 2009 when I first played it. After re-beating all these games again recently it still continues to hold true. I love all the Arkham games but it’s something about Asylum that just does it for me. Good vid.

I think it would be cool if they remastered Asylum and added all the unused content that fit the game in the modern game engine

The cuts really do make the film/game. I also like how even though that joker design is brutal, the one they stuck with is more flexible, to the point where even in Arkham Knight, he almost seems like your friends and you believe it. He can be sinister, mean looking, or look like a goofy friendly clown. It's simplicity is just a perfect blend. And sadly it's even more believable, but I REALLY love that glassglow joker look.

Every time I'm reminded that the fighting mechanics were originally going to be rhythm games, I have to sit down. Because if they had been, I never would have gotten past the first fight.

All of the lore and love pushed into this game made it stick out and last. Basically what the Avengers probably lacked, and what Spider-Man continues to add on to with it’s continuations. For Kevin’s memory, we need more Arkham Batman.

The Asylum Lighthouse design seems to be repurposed for Arkham City Wonder Tower, i remember similar structures and designs while climbing up to reach Strange.

The concept ideas for arkham asylum could've truly redefined everything the game has a remarkable legacy and made the super hero genre for gaming but the concept ideas such as the scarecrow approach and the garden seems so cool

Man, I wish the remastered version of Arkham asylum kept the original cinematics. They looked so good. If I could change just 2 things it would be that and Batman’s weird face in the first game. Aside from that, both remasters are pretty much perfect(to me anyway).

The Arkham remasters are offensively bad. They took Joker and turned him into a neon glow stick.

I know the suit itself is just the armoured suit as mentioned in the video, but the logo and textures of the other images is primarily based on the original textures from the pre-alpha. This includes the logo which although, was touched up by whoever made the mod, is still an accurate representation of how it may have looked like if it was completed. Of course, its not entirely accurate since it’s missing the cape, and overall torso design is different but obviously they can’t fully recreate the original alpha suit. I think they must have tried to get as close to it as possible using suits already in the game which is why I still included it. Also, I don’t think anyone will doubt that the armoured suit is based on the art I mentioned judging from how close it looks to it.

Thank you. Im assuming you’re referring to the art by Carlos D'Anda? A lot of his Art usually look completely different from the final designs in the actual game but some of his art also look really similar (with some differences). His batsuit art looks similar to the final suit yeah, however, the art I compared the armoured suit to have some notable differences. He could have just been illustrating the armoured suit as a suit purely for the challenge maps but honestly its hard to know for sure 🤔We’d have to ask him ourselves.

As a guy who played the hell out of this game on Xbox 360 even in hard mode multiple times, I didn't know anything about the unused concept of the game. So it's good to watch this amazing video and know all of this stuff I never knew before. The concept I loved here the most is the Joker design for how horrifying and scary he looks. And I think that's how he should've looked in suicide squad (2016) instead of some cringey tiktok gangster who looks stupid with tattoos. But I prefer the design we got in the game instead. Same with Batman. With Bane though, I actually prefer the concept design over what we got instead. When it comes to batmobile, I knew it was supposed to be drivable in the game as the model itself is in the game. But I think it would've been just used as a driving vehicle to go to a specific place. Instead of a non transferable version of Transformers War for Cybertron tank battle machine for like 60% of Arkham Knight. And the funny thing about the counter lightning bolt indicator in the combat system is that despite the devs added this much later as the combat was hard for them to counter enemies, they didn't put it on hard difficulty. You have no idea how frustrated it was when I played the game on hard for the first time 😂 But it was so fun nonetheless. Overall, I'm so glad what we got in the game when it comes to designs, story, atmosphere, combat and so on. And at the end, what we got is a masterpiece. Anyways again, amazing video as usual from you, man 👍🏻 I'd really like you to do an unused concept video for Terminator 1 and 2 or Arkham City.

These are some really great Concepts,I kinda wish that Batman had that Classic look mixed in with the Armor look.

That early Bane design is far better than what we got in the final game.

Now that they don't have to worry about it being a movie tie-in, Rocksteady could make a Dark Knight game with all the time they need. Better yet, a game comprising all of the movies, perhaps including the 1966 one would be nice if they could fit it all into a single game.

I just got the trilogy. Remastered for the PS4, and while not perfect, still it gets the job done. I've always been a gameplay over graphics guy, so it really doesn't bother me too much. I just finished it this morning and started my City play through. When I first got them, I played them in reverse. Nice to see things play out the way they're supposed to. It'll be my first time playing Knight. It's gonna be a good time for me. 😁

Perhaps I missed it, but I’m assuming that the original artist must have deleted the image. Again, maybe I missed it but I couldn’t for the life of me find a better quality image.

I think that the inspiration for Joker scars was took from Grant Morrison's Batman R.I.P.. Also, in my opinion Joker from Arkham Origins looks way better than in Rocksteady games, where he looks like some kind of a goblin
