The Earl Bows Out - 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe retires for now - an HD video
A bit of self indulgence here but I think the Earl of Mount Edgcumbe in retiring for an overhaul deserves a farewell video. Therefore I have put together a small selection of my favourite videos to mark the occasion.Taken over an eight year period, the video shows some of the many journey's this loco has travelled. I do hope you can share my enjoyment, even the slightly dodgy panning at times, but I say "with age comes improvement" 🙂

Yes that was a classic and by coincidence another horse features in my latest video "The GWR Autumn Mixed Traffic Gala". Thanks for your comment. Regards, John
Superb, what an engine!
Fine compilation John. The Earl has certainly provided some memorable moments during her spell on the mainline
A stirring clip there John, it's great to have a Vintage Trains Castle out and about again. Cheers, Rob
A wonderful compilation, thanks John, thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. Easy to see why you have favoured EoME and far too difficult to pick a favourite sequence! Kind regards, Bob.
