Class 50s on the Mazey Day Cornishman PLUS Class 47s on the Mazey Day Statesman & action at Penzance

This was the longest railtour I have ever travelled on and with my two sons we embarked on a 616 mile / 15 hour journey from Dorridge to Penzance.
It was obviously a long day but thoroughly enjoyable.
I have attempted to capture the highlights of the journey and the meeting of two class 47s which were also travelling from the West Midlands to Penzance. The sight of two Class 50s and two Class 47s was a very treat and made for some interesting video content.
I hope you can enjoy sharing some of the day's memorable highlights.

Brian, Joined by my two sons it was a long but absolutely sensational day.Talking of steam the last time I was in Penzance was 1964 when steam was still in action and I bunked the shed at Long Rock. Regards, John
