Just had the pack out on its first trip after 30 miles of walk testing. It's as close to the perfect pack for me as it gets. The versatility is insane and I could see this being a one quiver pack for those on there more ultralight side of things. I'm going to put it out there that I think it's the best thruhiking pack on the market right now.

Did you have to pay duty on it in Canada on top of the 390 Justin?

Most excellent camera work ! I love seeing what Durston is doing. Very little innovation of the world at this point, and they seem to be pushing the envelope. All the best to both you and Miyagi.

Are those 2 nylon loops at the bottom back of the pack? Wondering because I’d like to attach my tent to the bottom using them and the attachment points on the front bottom. Please let me know, haven’t seen confirmation on that anywhere, thanks!

Nice first look! Great alternative perspective having Miyagi try it on. I would agree the padding on the shoulder straps seems slim. The straps also appear closer together, may cut into the shoulder blades on longer days. I also agree having the pockets closer to your front is a plus but a lot of packs don't have that feature. I do like that it comes with the belt pockets and the water bottle pockets. The Zpacks Nero comes in $30 cheaper (w/out any additional pockets) and a weight of 10.3-10.9 ozs. I'm curious to hear how comfortable this rides for ya in the longer run.

$390 here in Canada. Waiting for a black or forest green version would be sweet.

Would love to try out this pack but I am confused why its priced at 280 dollars. Even the zpacks 30 liter frameless pack is 225 and they are know for exorbitant pricing.

These materials keep getting lighter and more durable. That comes with hefty price unfortunately. To my knowledge, Z-Packs isn’t using the Graflyte yet. I just hope it rides comfortably and keeps my stuff dry. Thanks for watching!

The single highest durability to weight ratio that exists in current packs. True waterproofness. Cant delaminate like ultra eventually will. Zpacks uses ultra 100.

$1,000,000,000 for a 30 liter pack. Do better Durston. I say that as someone who owns a X-Mid 2 Pro and Kakwa 55.
