WelshBloke walking. (With Outtakes)
The Duke.
Today we are in Mostyn, a former industrialised part of the North Wales coast. We are going "Ar lan y mor" - to the seaside - to see something that you don't normally come across on a seaside walk - It's called The Duke!

I was not expecting that! There's a stark beauty to an old wreck like that - Sealink in general brings back many memories. Another place I'd like to visit.

Shame we keep hearing something is gonna happen to The Duke and nothing ever happens. Great video Mr Welsh Bloke from Wales 😁

diolch yn fawr! this ship looks so massive in this quiet place. And the seaside seems to be a little bit wild with these rocks around. So beautiful nature around, thanks a lot!

Yes Alina, it's quite incongruous, but impressive to see this on a quiet shore
Excellent, as usual, very interesting

Thank you! Barbara. Cheers!
Another interesting walk, this time around part of my childhood stomping ground. I remember going inside 'The Funship' in its heyday. It seemed very plush and fancy as I remember it. Now, it seems sad and unwanted. Bit of a shame nothing has been done with it. Thanks for another interesting video, Will. Diolch.

Thanks for watching Jan. Glad you enjoyed it.
That's a shame it's not in use anymore, sounded fun when it was last used. The Lost Doll would make a good horror story, unexpectedly turning up in unusual places...lol..thanks Will, always enjoyable journeys with you.

What a dreadful eyesore in a beautiful place I wonder if the owners have thought of leasing it to the government for accommodation !

I gather there is an issue with asbestos within the fabric of the ship, but even in it's present state it' still seems to be a huge draw with hundreds of visitors a week.

it is a great shame Welshy
Its a shame really as it would probably make a good tourist attraction these days just simply letting people look around the entire ship for a small entrance fee.
