50 years old here, watched it with our babysitter/house cleaner who was a big ole black lady named Lena who loved it more than we did. She always stayed late on Friday nights to watch Dukes of Hazzard and share popcorn and that crazy laugh of hers. Never once was anything racist ever seen or mentioned. My 2 aunts, Lena, brother and sister all sat there and laughed our asses off and had a great "family" Friday night.

❤️Back when stunts were _real_ , done by real _stuntmen!_ none of this CGI 💩in today’s television.❤️ Good quality wholesome family viewing pleasure👍 I remember laying in the thick shag carpet at my grandparent’s watching this as a kid (about 2 feet from the 📺 screen 🤣); still one of my all time favorite TV series!

I LOVED this show as a 4-year old in it's heyday. I just remember my Dad and I laughing at Roscoe and Boss Hogg along with the ingenious ways Roscoe would cost the county a new patrol car. The best was when he ran his car through a sawmill-and you see the car come out and split in two halves. LMFAO!

Loved The Dukes of Hazzard because, it was my favorite show.

what a great chemistry amongst the cast !!! you cant buy that! Boss Hogg, Enos & Roscoe are comedy legends.

I Loved this show so very much, I still Love this show today as, it's still my favorite show ever . I will never change my mind ever! Sorrel was the funniest man I ever seen. Made it wack when he worked with James Best. Dancer did very well, and the car stunts were off the chain. I love this TV Action show!

I love this show I am 18 years old and I have been a fan of the dukes of hazzard because of the car stunts and action

I was not expecting Catherine Bach to look absolutely fantastic to this day. Holy crap

So Bo and Luke were actually Yankees! The magic of television is something.

It's weird how the inspiration for this show is rarely talked about. Waylon Jennings song was the inspiration. He didn't write the theme song for the show it became the show and the theme song.

for me I loved the show and I really do not care how when or where it was made all I care about that it was a great show to watch on tv !!!!

The real star of the show was the General Lee

I felt that it was a good way to explore more of the family of the dukes with the replacement of bo and Luke but when they returned it just made the story fit more better for family to me I think it made the dukes a little better

The Dukes Of Hazzard was my favorite show back in the day I had the Dukes Lunch Pail I had The Dukes on Record with the story still got them too had the dinky cars of the General Uncle Jesse's Truck and Daisy's Jeep. My Uncle at the time had a 1969 Charger and I wanted him to jump something like the Dukes did he would just laugh and say if I did that the car would be no good LOL!!

I think it's a good idea for a Duke's Of Hazzard theme park town.

Surprised to see their screen test was in late October of 1978 when the show premiered in late January of 1979. Looks like they got things right in those three months in between.

Acting wasn't her strong point, but no one could compete with her looks.

I would still watch The DUKES of HAZZARD..See Now they could introduce Some younger guy's in a Black General with 02 on the side and a black and white flag on top..As the sons or Cousins get sent to live on the farm with Ant,Dasey DUKE...And cousins Bo@Luke DUKE to work on the farm!!!!O'yeah Cousin Bo still has General Lee in the barn covered since the Southern Country Folk Band of 2016..

The hat looked a little small But one of my favourite shows her shorts helped a bit along with the mopars

Catherine Bach had a small role in thunderbolt and lightfoot she gets in the car driven by Jeff bridges 👍

George Kennedy starred in the movie as red Leary one fave scene is were lightfoot walks up to the used car salesman and gets into the firebird trans am and asks about the car ......salesman says got less than a 1000 Mile's on the clock Jeff bridges drives off lol and picks up Clint down the road after hitting a bad guy in the fields lol

Yeah, that would have been a neat episode to do, how Bo, Luke, and Daisy lost their parents, wish they could have done an episode about that, and maybe another about either a sibling for Bo, like an episode where Luke had a visit from his pro boxing brother Jud, and maybe Daisy could have had either a brother or a sister, I think that would have been pretty cool

I think the same thing happened with the Brady Bunch kids. Some pinhead put the idea in their heads to make demands on the big wigs that they couldn't meet and the show was ultimately canceled. You gotta do your homework before hitting the boss up for a raise.

The Duke Cousins where cool. Just in the end everyone want's Batman not Robin. You want Captain Kirk. Not Spock. You want the real deal. But will always have a special place for the side kick.

I heard once that censors made women wear panty hose and could never leave their legs bare during the 1970's up until the late 80's. Look at episodes of Three's Company where Janet and Chrissy are sleeping while wearing them. Also, look at The Love Boat where women are in the pool lol. Bare legs were sinful, I guess?

Ended up in jail for stealing police cars before i knew that Tom And Richard had been replaced.. dang gan it..

Now they would have replaced Bo and Luke with a lesbian and a transgener and Roscoe would have to put Boss Hogg in jail for having a beauty contest. Then they would have converted the general lee to electric and put a pride flag on the roof.
