The reason this guy has a faster time than dream is actually because instead of using the crafting table on the pillar next to the platform, he used the table that was already on the platform.

People missed the point completely lol, he still crafted it faster than dream, the crafting table on the top gave no advtange, imagine if you are competing to cut chocolate the fastest but your friend has a different brand chopping board but it is the same material, literally not going to change anything if you cut the chocolate quicker it isnt the chopping board making it faster it is your skill lol

I'm a fan of Dream and I'm happy that rekrap recreated the clutch and not only that but he managed to do it faster than Dream. Also doing it with smaller UI is quite interesting.

Moral of the story: Go small or go home.

One more problem is Dream opened the table to craft while falling, you opened the table as you walk off

The thing about dream is he admitted that his laggier server which slowed the servers tick rate helped get the boat clutch since the craftingtable existed out much later

It would be next level if he did it with normal interface

Dream actually admitted that the boat clutch is faked and that his server has a plugin that makes it so that the crafting would close later. Search it up

No he didn't, but he did say that his ping and lag made a considerable difference when doing the clutch, plus he said this: If I hadn't already been thinking 'I need to craft the boat' , 'I need to craft it super quickly ' , then I'd be dead. There's no chance I would've gotten it . I wasn't sitting there in mid-air going 'I'm going to craft a boat , I'm going to fling my cursor out the woods , no I had already thought of all that stuff. So all I had to do was just do it. Obviously a lot of luck comes in the way. In fact, the audacity of his feat even took him by surprise as he further revealed that while he was on a call with Sapnap, they both discussed how it looked fake at first glance, considering how fast he had managed to craft the boat.

Lag and ping doesn’t effect how long you stay in the crafting table. If you had higher ping, you not only close the table later, but also open it later.

@@GnawsterMC it does, an also tick speeds can be different speeds, especially on servers, so you could be able to open it quickly on one tick, but close later than usual on another tick.

rekrap i’ve tried this myself but it was easy for me i did it, but i failed the boat clutch and survived and that made me realise that i only survived because it was the respawning protection

Now do it while you're in pressure, being chased by 5 hunters and having no idea which slot your wood is on

yeah but dream played on a server while rek played singleplayer. a server especially since its most likely to be munchymc, is gonna have a lot of lag and the gui stays on his screen longer

Server lag is also needed to be taken into account for this clutch to work like it should

It depend on our falling speed if you jump from a high place and craft in mid air so it will be difficult because of high speed and less time. You just craft when you were jumping or kinda you touch crafting table before being in gravity
