I just bought a white Firebird and I'm starting to go through it now. Seems to be a good car. Love Trans Ams!

97 fbody I changed the fuel filter, IAC and cleaned the TB. Runs smooth on drive but it idles a bit hard. Got the scan tool it's the EGR needs cleaned or replaced.

i have issues with my lt1 dying as soon as i put it into gear any idea why that could be happening

How does it affect the car if its below 35 pressure

Have you checked the fuel pump? The small rubber hose that is attached to the fuel pump inside the gas tank maybe cracked. They've been submerged in the tank for so long that they get spongy and split/Crack. The pump will turn on but the fuel will seep out the cracked rubber hose.

Hey, just found your video I notice it been a while. I was wondering I just replaced my fuel rail, injectors, pressure, solenoid, and fuel pump. It starts up runs for a minute and then stalls right up. Any idea what that could be?

Mine has been turning itself off when it idles but it’ll stay running fine when driving around

Are u sure about this because my car is doing the same thing and it's not the fuel pump either. It's been in the shop for almost 3 months and still they don't know what's wrong
