    Yep,the ability to actually "delete" Is An amazing concept to me,ive never even tought of this.Ive done doodling(like literally doodling stuff that i Like)And Its rlly fun to do what you want without anything to drag u down,you dont feel judged,embarrased,and Stress doesnt hit you,just imagine this,when you make a drawing,the first thing that comes to your mind is to make it look good right?Since you dont wanna deal with the huge long proccess that takes process to make a good drawing right?The sketching,references,the tools,the experience that prob costed alot of papers...No one wants to deal with that which shows how useful this actually is...Anyway thats all that i Wanted to say.

    @@KingSolidTails yeah thats true. When I worry about the painting I don't worry about how good it could be, but about how expensive the materials are :') I cant buy them frequently so I only use them in really special cases and the rest of my art I paint it digitally bc its cheap af :')

    the art studio at my school had an old 'buddha meditation board' which worked exactly like this. You draw with the brush, and watch your strokes evaporate within the minute. I would draw people in the studio, the tree outside the window, and everything would pale back to an empty canvas. I think it makes the empty page more approachable, too.

    Absolutely true. When we relax, when we lose the fear of losing a great drawing because of a mistake on expensive gear, we give ourselves permission to create honestly, as ourselves, with the most fun. And we create our best work that way.

  • @AlextheENTP

    I have a sketchbook that's the best of both. It has a black hardcover, but the pages are basically just slightly thicker printer paper. So it has the look of good material, so I feel like I'm working in a book fit for a rEaL ArTiSt, but I don't feel really stressed out about messing on the pages - in fact, I've ripped out some of the pages when I was truly unhappy with the drawing. (And I think it's worth noting that the drawings that came out so bad that they had to be ripped were the ones that I was too serious about. The ones where I just relaxed and sketched came out really charming!)

  • @PsychoBackflip

    @PsychoBackflip

    Жыл бұрын

    @@AlextheENTP To me it's just so fascinating when reading through your comment, out of the blue you suddenly talk about being stressed out. Tell me: Do you think it makes sense that stress should be even an association to drawing or messing around ? It's just so illogical to me that stress even finds its way in there, because you are creating something from feeling inspired right. So it's like you have a completely uninvited guest with you in your chill out time that you didn't want and definitely don't need. Also that you say "real artist" is another fascinating thing as to who can deem anyone more real than anybody else ? There is no set in stone definition of an artist and as we all are creators, you are just as much a real artist as anybody else. We just buy into SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many stupid, limiting, devestating ideas for ourselves that most of us are simply not aware of and I find that so weird and fascinating!

    I like the calm tune of your videos .. find it relaxing and that I can always redraw and expand my perception of my subjects .. and it is ok to make mostakes .. maybe it would end up being a happy one.. the price of the art materials, though not on the high end of prices, and the anxiety accompanied with the thought of me running out of the materials just gets me so stiff and unwanting to experiment. Given that i purchased these materials for having fun rather than making masterpieces that would last for eternity in the first place.

Más confianza tenemos en nuestros dibujos más nos permitiremos expandirnos. El arte es más poderoso siendl libre.

    I noticed I used to draw so much more when my family was poorer and i didn't have access to much equipment. I would fill my school books and any paper i could find with drawings using plain pencil or ballpoint pens. Now i am an adult, i can afford more expensive art supplies but find myself struggling to convince myself to use them and that my art is worth using them. Almost like I dont want to waste it by making bad art with it
