"Back in the day", if you came across someone with a marked alternative lifestyle, anything, from two-tone, or really into D&D, these individuals really had to work at it. Now, a young person can nose-dive into Tuvan throat singing in a single week of a wormhole, nerd-out on it, get distracted and quickly change allegiances to Yoyogi Park rockabilly dancing, or even more niche tings like "Hetalia: Axis Powers". Pros and cons. But, for some people who really lack support and already have escapist tendencies, it's way too easy to become obsessive about things, distancing themselves from family, friends, priorities.

The masculine terms are what's used for groups of both men and women, ergo saying latinos (generally) is perfectly fine and inclusive. A GP can't diagnose a psychiatric disease and neither can the person themselves. A psychologist can aim at it - but a psychiatrist is needed to confirm. There's no doubt he is seriously disturbed and should have been treated already in his teenage years. PS: Autism is an actual developmental disease that is usually diagnosed somewhere around the years 4-7 and is not caused by vaccines. Yes - I'm a psychologist and have worked 10 years in a psychiatric unit.

I'm studying for a psychiatry degree and am seriously considering using this as my research. I personally believe that a lack of 'self' (when someone doesn't think they have a distinctive, individual personality), or a hatred of this 'self' as a product of frustration towards being autistic. They reject everything they are, usually starting with their race, the religion of their families, societal values, etc, and then culminates on a complete gender switch. I'm really curious about this thing and did notice a lot of transgenders are autistic, despite having my suspicions that a ton of it can be self diagnosed/exposure to grooming online
