What a precious baby girl and, indeed, very dainty.

If they have to end in the “e” sound, Stormy and Rainy... Otherwise, Rain and River!

I think Rain and River are awesome names for them. My 4 yr old grandsons middle name is River😊. My mother likes to tease and call him puddle. 😆

Kickrd off, it is going full force. They all are about to pop. I think we are going go have at least 35 babies not counting the Carpark troop. Just hope they are all healthy so we can watch the beautiful little things grow into lovely yearlings and beyond.

Still kind of shady the way the Nora + baby deal went down. She either starved or neglected that baby to death, and I didn't think macaques were necessarily known for infanticide. The way Nora had those bare patches on her shoulders, that baby clung and clung hard. I still wish I understood more about why Nora didn't nurse her properly, or be at all maternal to her. I mean, if Billy can survive with a cleft palate, I just don't get it. Nora is seriously worse than Gypsy.

Just an 1/8" would drown you guys. When I was a paramedic in Oakland we knew we'd be busy when the rain started with the oils on the roads.

These rains are not cold like you would expect in the west. Its tropical climate there and in summer the rains are warmish with humidity too. In winter of course it's cold, but they have winter coats to keep them warm.

There is a few videos on this channel about an unexpected and very cold wet winter. They did lose some young that year. Usually cuddling together and their thick winter coat is all they need.

@@barbarageorge7848 It's more possible that her baby had a fall. When we last saw him he was acting exactly like other babies I've seen who have fallen out of trees. He was not thin and Nora was not blocking him from nursing. He cried each time he moved, was stiff etc. Pushing the baby away from her is something she also does in the trees with many very close calls.Grandma rescued her other babies at times. I like those names! I made up ShyAna for the mom and Shania for the baby so we are thinking along the same lines. It makes sense to me for the mother's name to reference her shyness in some way. It doesn't make sense to me to focus on names relating to Rain, Stormy, etc because that's just a temporary weather condition today and has nothing to do with this particular monkey. I guess I'm missing something, don't understand why so many people are focused that way. Oh well! 😂

@@leslie6938 lol, I love the names Stormi and Rain. In fact, if Ibwas able to have kids and had a lil girl, her name was going to be Reighann Storm (similar to rain storm) but that's another story. I think maybe people were referencing that because of the weather in which they were discovered, kind of like a way to remember their individual story. Maybe?
