If the basement would have done a few over the head arm swings, during the downfall of Paris would have been a lot, more interesting visually. I learned to play that piece back in 19 56 my promise dropped towards Eddie fitzgerald, may he rest in peace. At the time I was a snare drummer, with the olph Ridge men, from Brooklyn New York, I went to the Floyd Bennett golden eagles from Brooklyn New York in 1960 and 61, then went to the Long Island sunrise in 1964 through 1968. I've always enjoyed rudimental grooming, I've learned most of the standards many years ago. I doubt very much if the, I won't call them, drum c o RPS, because they're not they are marching bands. Could play the standards for at least they should learn to play them. I wish they would stop referring to DCI, and change it to, MBI, marching band International. Please call it what it really is.
