The Downbeat Podcast - Will Thomson (Tattoo Artist)
Музыка
My guest on the podcast this week is amazing tattoo artist and incredibly funny human, Will Thomson. He's responsible for a lot my tattoos (in record time) and we did a podcast about 3 hours after he finished tattooing my head, then got very drunk. We talk tattoos and how he became a tattoo artist, but also being a business owner, his insane ideas for horror movies... and the time he was in a real-life bi-curious Lord Of The Rings. Check out his unhinged IG and excellent tattoos @thomsontattoos

this is just the right amount of unhinged, crying laughing!
Amazing episode, unhinged and here for it. Ok so the blood latte art needs to be a Downbeat T-shirt, but it’s a coffee cup and it’s a blood red latte but the art is the Downbeat logo
Will is an absolute bucket list artist to get something from, not just for the tattoo, but his chat is next level.
I fucking laughed so hard when Will said "my mum had this beautiful futon" omg I almost fall of my chair

You should also listen to Will’s podcast, Thomson Talks. Start from episode 1, they’re all absolutely hilarious
Another unhinged episode. Love it. Facts. Growing up with rotten and the devil incarnated, that was LimeWire. I have been ruined to gore. Absolutely love it I am just not bugged by it anymore. I can also vouch on the Eagle tattoo on the head on being an immediate "I am a racist" vibes. Met plenty of skinnies growing up in the States. Watched some feed some vegan kid a portion of each earlobe. Was mental.
Shagging his Mums Futon sofa absolutely killed me
pure quality 🤣
"let me raise you a scene..." 😂😂
The meme has to be the guy cutting a tree down standing on a ladder, surely?
46:20 is one of the hardest tone shifts I have EVER experienced in anything. What was in those shots?
Talking about movies that have "that scene" that becomes bigger than the movie and makes people talk about it and watch it. Bone Tomahawk is a great example of a movie having a scene like that and it's a fucking amazing movie too that I would never have watched if I never heard about it because of people freaking out about that scene

He interviewed him awhile ago, just audio though
gore is one thing but i hate when directors rely on sexual violence for the shock value
Just had to wind it back, fell asleep to the penis pump section last night. Best I’ve slept all week.
Tbh I have tattoos on both my forearms, one of my upper arms and one on back of my neck and I have a proper corporate job. I don’t cover them up and it’s never been a problem!
Shit happens
I literally get 4-6hrs from numbing cream...keep getting told I'm one of the lucky ones. Depends on area, chest only got a couple hours out of it but sternum/underboob I got a decent 4
he sounds exactly like george lever its scary
