I will give him the surprise factor that everyone experienced. I don't find Martin to be the all end, be all, that so many do. There are very few people if any, that can predict the rise of stocks up or down.

@@leolove3 Armstrong isn't always against gold. You probably haven't read what he wrote thoroughly. Armstrong's view gold will raise with equity in time to come. I wouldn't have lost so much if I believed him back in 2012. By the way, when Armstrong started writing about a "third party" candidate in the US presidential election, I was very skeptical. But the election of Trump proved Armstrong was actually correct on this one. Armstrong is more correct than not. Anyway, we have to make up our own minds on issues, should only use his view as reference.

So you never know which company might fall off from the index and underperform, General Electric is a great example. and what do you mean by "Counter-party risk"

In his blog he is still saying the DOW will hit 40,000 by 2024, and 65,000 by 2032. Not because the economy is in good shape, but because the bond market is in worse shape and the money will have nowhere to hide but US equities.

Finn Jake he just called the day of the high in Gold and the Dow. I read his posts! Then it happened. He called the 2018 Boxing Day bounce a few weeks before that happened too. That’s just a few of innumerable predictions he’s made that came in. If Socrates doesn’t work he’s the luckiest guy in the world. But you can go investigate for yourself..

Marty said Dow 19000 to have a bear market which he said was pretty far away and did not expect it, but now Dow is almost down to 19000 and my own oscillator says the sp500 is going down into about April 3 +/- a couple of trading days, so it looks like a recession is coming. I have longer term trends for a low into late 2021. So sorry Marty looks like you and Socrates underestimated this trouble. Back to the drawing board. ;).

A year later in hindsight, looks like he is getting vindicated

Armstrong plays both sides on his private blog. He called for a pullback all 2019 it never came Socrates is useless and has been tested by many subscribers. The result was that you can't trade with it as it's signals are so poor.

@@ayg2199 nice name by the way. What are the chances?. Many of us have tracked the reversals for years. Some I know have attended very expensive conferences on the other side of the globe. We all wanted to believe. But it just doesn't work. Simple as that. Many mixed signals with words like panic cycles, cycle inversions, daily, weakly, monthly elected reversals, the 1% rule. All of which have failed at some point. BTW gold was to pullback to 980. Never happened. Just helping people see the truth here.

I use Socrates daily..it works...it takes some time and you have to plot and watch what it says. It has made and saved me money..

I have great respect for Martin who survived many years in MCC prison. The same place where Epstein "died". He has a free email list which I've been reading for many years.

I tried reaching out to him personally because at the time I learned that he literally lived 20 minutes from me. He never bothered to reply. I have yet to meet a world famous author whose book I may have read and refused to speak to me about their passion. I have spoken to Jim Rogers, Peter Schiff to name a few. So it’s hard for me to refute your claims.

You are asking people to trade using Socrates. Which is nonsense because according to the fine print on the Socrates site, Socrates is not suitable for trading. It is a hindsight tool. Martin Armstrong the convicted felon, made this mistake and used Socrates for trading before spending 11 years in jail for defrauding investors. He created a $3 billion Ponzi scheme to cover the Socrates losses! Now he is selling Socrates to the little guy. Wash rinse and repeat!
