    Actually one of the coolest back and forth games I've seen in a long time. I kind of have the feeling that Starcraft 2 was intended to look like this when it was conceptualized.

    Thank you for the video! I think I know why Disruptors call so, PiG. Remember that moment in Pulp Fiction than Samuel L. Jackson shots a man and just "Oh, I am sorry. Did I break your concentration?" That is how Disruptor works in nutshell.

    Thats because you need twice the skill as zerg to micro your units to get to the same MMR a Protoss player does. Look at the insane micro the Zerg does through this entire game while the Protoss F2 amoves around the entire time. Yet the Zerg is at a lower MMR/skill level. HMMMMM.

    OBJECTION! A Disruptor is accurately named because it forces the army to split or take big balls to the face. Thus, it disrupts the attacking forces. I just wanted an excuse to type big balls to the face.

    Zergs hatch blocking protosses with a somewhat delayed own natural seems like such a good investment for the zerg, they will only lose 75 minerals and perhaps a drone and a hatchery can force the protoss to build 1-2 zealots, pull drones or potentially cause queens and zerglings to spawn behind the wall. I really don't know how protoss can respond to that properly, it's so annoying :/

  • @stephencraig3176

    @stephencraig3176

    Жыл бұрын

    The perfect response is instantly pull 6 probes when hatch starts then go for gate cyber, first probe scout’s what the Zerg follow up is and Vs this version you instantly run across map with first zealot to harass the mineral line letting probes kill hatchery. With perfect play hatch block is even or negative for the Zerg depending on the toss opener. Reason I do it is that most toss don’t know the response, and that gives me time to do whatever I’m doing + it changes the timings of everything so it’s harder for them to figure out what I’m doing. look at this game even with his very late weird zealots adept battery attack which completely failed the game was still even, there is a reason you nearly never see this at pro level or if you do it’s the committed ravages all in versions

  • @asdfasdf-mn8iu

    @asdfasdf-mn8iu

    Жыл бұрын

    @@stephencraig3176 I mean, the zerg really butchered his build too though, which is why he was behind so much imo. 6 probes seem like a fuckton considering the zerg will get most of their investment back (and can potentially build a 3rd off of that then) and you keep about 1/3 of your eco off mining for so long. I guess I should try that out ingame and see how timings for the zerg change, but I feel like they don't have to change all too much besides delaying the natural..

    I'm a newish bad player with slow mechanics, but I'm not afraid to smoke a bowl and que up as random and when I do get PvZ I actually favor one of Rotterdams openers where he goes and starts his natural before gateway, then walls it off with a forge in the wall , and leading into oracles for harass and defense this sounds super bad, but it does a lot of things, for one it puts the zerg in a decision to either rush me with my cannon wall because my economy is already rocking, or two try and out macro me while defending the early oracles but the point I'm trying to make is even though its an inefficient build and I am completely aware of that fact it does prevent a lot of zerg cheeses like this and dictates the pace of the game how I want it
