Actually one of the coolest back and forth games I've seen in a long time. I kind of have the feeling that Starcraft 2 was intended to look like this when it was conceptualized.
Thank you for the video! I think I know why Disruptors call so, PiG. Remember that moment in Pulp Fiction than Samuel L. Jackson shots a man and just "Oh, I am sorry. Did I break your concentration?" That is how Disruptor works in nutshell.

I am really enjoying this smoothbrain stephen series! thanks for the good content.
Very cool game. Really impressed by the micro of Stephen. You were pitcging him as the underdog but they have somemoves

Thats because you need twice the skill as zerg to micro your units to get to the same MMR a Protoss player does. Look at the insane micro the Zerg does through this entire game while the Protoss F2 amoves around the entire time. Yet the Zerg is at a lower MMR/skill level. HMMMMM.

As a Protoss playing zergs with your style is extremely frustrating. Super fun game to watch. Looking forward to more in the smooth brain series

Disrupter is a short hand for molecular bond disrupter.

Disruptor is short hand for "peaceful protest disruptor". On Auir there are no worker's rights initiatives.
+3 adrenalings vs +0 armor. It's like a dream come true.
Molecular disruptor device. A planet destroying weapon from the Enders game series. MD occasionally called the “little doctor”
Holy these guys are good, what a dynamic game
Been loving your content PiG! Keep it up!!

@@Leonhart_93 which isn't what they said. Just that the important thing is that the player has fun. Some people need the mmr and get the sweet sweet dopamine release from earning it. Others, they're just having fun. ...others wind up in the salt mine.
Stephen's the real disruptor
There's 2 ways to outmacro your opponent in RTS: 1. build better and faster than them, 2. keep them from building better or faster than you
Really top level chaotic match. Very enjoyable. Great casting. Thanks for sharing.
Well played, Stephen.
Stephen just dragged Ranger into a shitter, and the expert septic tank diver he is; defeated the man with expertise on his home field.
The apm to get those drops going while you’re defending your base oh my O.O
What a crazy game, amaze!
It worked for my 64-bit PC. Thanks a lot.
Both players countering aggression with more aggression. It's nice to see zerg use hydras as well especially the bw skins.
Love this kind of underdog scrappy game
Your unhinged dictionary is at times the reason these videos are entertaining to watch. Thank you for not being a PC commentator.
That was beautiful chaos
That was a cracker of a game!! 👏🏼
I though ranger was supposed to be the aggressive one 😅

haha I've never seen someone keep him on the defence for so long
6:50 Pig: "he's up 14 workers, is that good yes, but he's got no tech, where's that evo chamber?" Silly smoothbrain Pig, Mr Steven built an evo chamber a minute into the game, but Ranger destroyed it.
OBJECTION! A Disruptor is accurately named because it forces the army to split or take big balls to the face. Thus, it disrupts the attacking forces. I just wanted an excuse to type big balls to the face.
Amazing game
PIG rather brave of you to risk the wrath of all your protoss subs

A disruptor breaks up enemy formations by forcing splits. It disrupts large formation pushes.
Protoss race roast 1st Class
disruptors do disrupt an engagement, forcing units back and to spend time splitting instead of attacking

I dunno I just get hit in the face by them and they murder, but I'm not Clem or Maru so that's probably the problem
disruptors should be renamed to exterminators
At least one economy is recovering.
Zergs hatch blocking protosses with a somewhat delayed own natural seems like such a good investment for the zerg, they will only lose 75 minerals and perhaps a drone and a hatchery can force the protoss to build 1-2 zealots, pull drones or potentially cause queens and zerglings to spawn behind the wall. I really don't know how protoss can respond to that properly, it's so annoying :/
@stephencraig3176
Жыл бұрын
The perfect response is instantly pull 6 probes when hatch starts then go for gate cyber, first probe scout’s what the Zerg follow up is and Vs this version you instantly run across map with first zealot to harass the mineral line letting probes kill hatchery. With perfect play hatch block is even or negative for the Zerg depending on the toss opener. Reason I do it is that most toss don’t know the response, and that gives me time to do whatever I’m doing + it changes the timings of everything so it’s harder for them to figure out what I’m doing. look at this game even with his very late weird zealots adept battery attack which completely failed the game was still even, there is a reason you nearly never see this at pro level or if you do it’s the committed ravages all in versions

@@stephencraig3176 I mean, the zerg really butchered his build too though, which is why he was behind so much imo. 6 probes seem like a fuckton considering the zerg will get most of their investment back (and can potentially build a 3rd off of that then) and you keep about 1/3 of your eco off mining for so long. I guess I should try that out ingame and see how timings for the zerg change, but I feel like they don't have to change all too much besides delaying the natural..
I'm a newish bad player with slow mechanics, but I'm not afraid to smoke a bowl and que up as random and when I do get PvZ I actually favor one of Rotterdams openers where he goes and starts his natural before gateway, then walls it off with a forge in the wall , and leading into oracles for harass and defense this sounds super bad, but it does a lot of things, for one it puts the zerg in a decision to either rush me with my cannon wall because my economy is already rocking, or two try and out macro me while defending the early oracles but the point I'm trying to make is even though its an inefficient build and I am completely aware of that fact it does prevent a lot of zerg cheeses like this and dictates the pace of the game how I want it
Love the Nexus block, especially given that the current meta is to block Zerg’s nat. Yeah, it’s spite but gotta love a little bit of “try your own medicine and see how you like it”.

haha yeah I reckon throwing your opponent off their game and annoying them adds value to just about any maneuvre
Nicely done Stephen, constant harassment and weird stats throws the opponent off.
dude. good evening, super.totla top channel, talk you later!🤞
stephen playing like a classic brood war zerg. i love it playing aggressiv and making moves instead of defending for 20min until you can overwhelm your opponent with repumping 200 supply armies. never liked that about sc2 zerg.
