As a huge Doors fan, I’m ok with this. Anything that pushes their music/message into the now and reaches new ears, I’m all for it. Jim Morrison blazed a trail for the artists of today, for them to be free to express themselves without censorship. I want their legacy to live on.

Que Grande!! De la ciudad de las diagonales, incluso tube la oportunidad de ver a " The Doors of the 21st century " en el estadio Vélez sarsfield en el 2004! Fue algo único, maravilló difícil de explicar. Y le había tocado la tarea nada fácil de ponerse los pantalones del rey lagarto al gran " Ian Astbury..

A Doors' masterpiece. Doors: Great baritone vocalist and texts writer, genial musicians: Manzarek, Krieger, Densmore (his jezz ability and improvisation attitude make me wonder from when I knew the rock band; Manzarek and Krieger were unique in creating hypnotic melodies and arrangements). Because of the global decadence of contemporary music (the 60-70's are unrepeatable..), listen these old sounds and songs is a relief for the spirit. This is the trailer of the video, I'd like the whole one.
The song has such a vintage sound. The footage looks a bit futuristic - kind of gives me madmax vibes. I'll have to see the whole thing before I can fully have an opinion about it but based on the trailer I don't quite know what to think yet.

@@ButeSound Exactly! Oliver stones interpretation was much better in the movie the doors when Jim was a child seeing the Indians on the side of the road and his mom saying it’s just a dream Jim!

The song was about Jim's obsession and fear of the hitchhiker character. He mentioned this in his poetry a lot but ofcourse we're in the 21st century where nothing is of any worth or substance so they had to ruin the song with a video of a girl making weird faces.

This makes no sense, there is already a riders on the storm video. As well intentioned as this might be, it can never be an official doors video, there is no such thing as new Doors content.
