Final Thoughts: what do you guys think could be improved?

I would say a shovel and a couple of maps in paper of the area. GPS is good, but being the wilderness I learnt that the only technology you can really trust is a flashlight...

Mount a bayonet lug to the front so you can make it an "assault atv" to terrify the lefties

Thanks. I carried a shovel for a long time and never needed it. Even getting stuck, I found other ways out

From years of dirt bike riding, I would have a spare sparkplug & wrench. Also, you'll find a pair of vise-grips in every vehicle I own.

Good looking quad! I like the Can-Am Cisco-lok differential. Yours looks like the 450. That one. Has an impressive 38 hp.
That Dan Wesson revolver is pretty sweet. An e-tool at least. For digging a benjo pit. Other than I think you got it covered.
IR Illuminator headlights and a PVS14, Semper Fi
if you have a truck, ATV, side-by-side, or any vehicle you take into the woods, always have an axe or chainsaw or both, because getting firewood without an axe or chainsaw is not easy at all. if you get stuck or run out of gas and it gets dark, fire is essential, especially during fall and winter, it gets cold, and whether you have service or not calling somebody might take them hours to find you.
A military poncho is part of our pack out for Civil Air Patrol SAREX missions. I would really like to see how you rig a poncho into a usable hammock.
Long comment inbound. I live and work on my family’s large working ranch. It’s very big (10’s of thousands of acres), and very rough, in the Texas hill county. We’re on an ATV/UTV almost all day, every day, unless we’re hauling equipment or livestock in a trailer. I say all that to give some context for where I’m coming from. Great video! We have pretty much the same gear on all of ours. We normally carry large limb pruners for s/m limbs, and an ax for big stuff. Also a short shovel (no etool). Have a large rainproof storage box mounted in front for the pack, mainly to keep dust off and limbs from ripping stuff. Baby wipes inside of a zippered ziplock bag. Just because of our location, we carry at least a gallon of water per person. We also carry a spare (all wheels and tires are the same size), because of all of the rock and ripped tires we’ve experienced. Along with a small compressor and plug kit. If it’s an overnight trip, we’ll also attach a nato fuel can. We built racks similar to these Russian ones, in the linked video. The spare and gas can are attached to it. Another positive of the rack is that it won’t let the ATV roll over all the way. Check out the rack on this Russian ATV in the next comment.

I've considered carrying a spare because I'm tried of limping home. Haven't found a decent mount yet. Thanks!

Check out the Silky Saw line up and save yourself a lot of room and weight instead of the chain saw. Tire repair kit and vehicle specific tool kit? Outlander 450 has 91 hp? Might fact check that along with fuel capacity range. Good video though.
A lot of atv in my area have a up seat which have storage boxes built in and a storage rack on the front to hold and tie on extra gear. It doesn't hurt to have a back pack tied on either in case you do have a unexpected hike to get home. Great video as usual
Outstanding Brother! Look forward to seeing some adventures going out on the atv and utilizing the gear/equipment. Back surgery is complete, so I am down for the count and watching your videos. You have made me want to find land of my own to play on and use my gear. Thanks a lot for that lol. I cannot wait to get back to building my weapons. Cheers Brother

I saved up and my honda 450 ex foreman 4x4, it's so mint I made a aluminum frame to put my 30 liter engle fridge and on the right of it I have a milk crate and put my spare fuel which I also map out between 50 to 70 kilometers along the coast and put a 5 litre plastic drum of fuel plus matches a survival poncho a couple of water bottles and a couple of nut bars, it's on in case I break down at least I know I have these items plus I can top up on the way back. Oh and I have a solar blanket which I connect to a Anderson plug I put on my battery for quick hook up, I always bring my boom box to listen to my favorite tunes, on the front just under my lead light bar I have a fishing rod holder to carry the two fishing rods and a huge kickarse umbrella. And many other items aswell. Great videos mate. Greetings from Western Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

@@GruntProof where are you located in the states or in Germany? Or back and forth? I know you mentioned you were about to turn in your gear to CIF, good luck with that Charlie Foxtrot, but what throws me off is the xarrying of a side arm. Thought Germany had strict firearm laws
Okay, I do drink PBR. But I'd never go so far as to call it a "good beer." 😂 CHEERS 🍻

For grenade carry, I bring Red Stripe or Mickeys. If glass is a no-no, I bring a Foster's Oil Can. (No, I don't have a drinking problem. I have zero problems drinking.)
