Did anybody else notice the cool motorcycle parked behind Pat Simmons as he spoke? I am glad he gave a shout out to all the other great Doobies over the years and with the motorcycle-- gently honored the bikers and motorcycle dudes and gals who were the very first Doobie Brothers fans. Very nice.

Long long long overdue. I dont have the greatest respect for the HOF but Im thrilled that they finally made it after watching so many others get in were less deserving.

Nothing against Cheap Trick really but for them to get in YEARS before the Doobies is a crime.

Usually every group of hall of fame inductees has a headliner among them; The Doobie Brothers are the headliner for this year's group of inductees.

Hell yeah! Super underrated band. Love their whole career. Love Tommy, Pat, John, Tiran, Mike, Keith, Michael, John and all the other Doobies over the years. ❤️

The Doobie Brothers have always been great. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on the other hand is nothing but a bunch of plastic board members. Alex Lifeson said it best when Rush was inducted into the plastic society. Bla Bla Bla, Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla. Priceless Alex and right on point.

Me too, my first Doobies Album ... then on my honeymoon we stayed in New Orleans in a hotel on Toulouse st.

I like how thoughtful these speeches were. I also like how the songs transitioned into songs they’ve wrote. And I like the slide show of all the amazing and talented players from over the years. Love you guys.

Congrats to the Doobie Brothers for their Hall of Fame induction and I am really surprised that it has taken this long for them to be honored because they truly deserve it!

For many years, I thought it was a disgrace that Neil Diamond, Chicago, The Doobie Brothers, and Grand Funk Railroad weren't inducted into the hall of fame. The first three have finally made it in over the last few years. Hopefully, Grand Funk will soon also get that honor which they deserve.

I took a young lady named Gail to a Doobie Brothers concert on October 18, 1975 in Roanoke, Virginia. It was a blind date. We got married 9 months later and are still married to this day. The Doobie Brothers will always hold a special place in our hearts. And they're still rockin'!

Finally. So happy. The Doobies always & will be the soundtrack of my life. I enjoyed the Tom Johnston & Michael McDonald years. Great songs. I NEVER tire of em. I still wanna see em in concert. Congratulations to you all. So proud of all of you. Music is the doctor of my soul.

All the songs and styles were great. One of the best live bands ever, and recordings that lived up to and even surpassed their live shows.

Congratulations to the Doobies!!, far overdue for this honor!! My very first concert was this Amazing Group back in 1973!! I've been a huge fan and continue to listen to the Music!! I want always thank my Brothers girlfriend for getting sick!!, and my Mom for telling my brother, you should take your little brother!!, I'm sure he would like to go!!!

I've just been enjoying the two greatest albums of my 63 years: the Captain and Me and What Were Once Vices. I had the privilege of seeing you guys live in my home town of New Plymouth, New Zealand a few years ago. The best guitar band ever. Thank you Doobies for one of the soundtracks of my life.

Congrats, well deserved. Saw you at Va Tech with Loggins & Messina early 70s. Since then, had pleasure of rocking with you guys 28 times. See you in Charlotte in 2021 for # 29 if I'm still breathing. Just something about you guys and those songs keeps me coming back. Stay safe, keep rocking.

You know that you're looking at a class act, where two very talented & soulful singers of different band-phases can be together on one stage and be generous & nice towards eachother; when speeches are eloquent & modest, in which crewmembers are being mentioned and appreciated by name. And when they are still going strong after 50!!! years...Congratulations, you guys are true Brothers!

These guys and their music have made a huge difference in my life as an artist and professional musician. And they still do!

The albums are chapters , the songs are paragraphs, i couldn't relate my life without a wink 'n smile to the Doobie Brothers. Congrats on this well deserved induction !!!

These guys are before my time, but my parents listened to them when I was growing up and I have kinda rediscovered them of sorts... great band that combined a lot of genres into one band style in the 70's, great stuff and very influential.

FINALLY...'AMAZINGLY TALENTED MUSICIANS'...

CONGRATS!! To The Doobie Brothers for finally taking their place in the RnRHOF!! Good Lord that's been a long train running to get there. I'm so happy they've arrived. Their music helped get me through some major changes in my life. So, enjoy DB's🥳💨🤙✌️

An award long overdue, a long train running indeed ! Such great musicians, and modest ones as well. I enjoyed the original line-up in the early 70s and the transition with the arrival of Michael McDonald, and later recruit John McFee. I was pleased to hear Pat Simmons pay tribute to all those former band members, sadly some of which are no longer with us. Long live the Doobie Brothers !

One of the few bands which sound great no matter who was in the band. They chose great musicians to start and continue with. There's a friendship between them all which is like a brotherhood, and it's great that Michael is back with them. Congratulations to the Doobies who are still with us. The Doobies are an iconic group and no one can deny their success and talent. Think about it, Black Water, Listen To The Music, Jesus Is Just (More Than) Alright, and let's not forget what a terrific musical statement Takin' It To The Streets is taken in it's entirety. But......the most damn under rated and fantastic bassist in all of rock and roll is my buddy Tiran Porter. Lyrical, funky and soulful, the world has never met a more sincere and genuine person. Congrats to the Brothers for their induction and really, it's about time for the love of Jesus. Who's Just Alright. And who can forget that Dark Eyed Cajun Woman or that super hip South City Midnight Lady. Or that Park on that Sunday. Those. Were. The. Days.

When I first heard them in 1971 I was instantly hooked and they became my favorite band. I have faithfully followed them for almost 50 years now! I am so happy for them, they should have been in there a long time ago. Better late than never :) love this band like no other...I'm proud of you guys!!! Congratulations :)

Congrats. The Doobies Brothers are timeless. A mix of Soul Americana and rock and roll. One if the best American bands ever. They represent the U.S. well. Coming from Detroit with a love of southern rock. I could listen to them all day.

Bravo. I saw them 40 years apart and they were just as great the second time as they ever were. This was a long time coming and well deserved. :)

So happy the Doobies finally got in! Just a terrific group of musicians, songwriters, and singers over the years.
