i wouldnt go with epoxy with it. do the rust converter, do a poly base treat as a normal panel than do 5-6 carbon fiber layers (try to do 45/45 degree layers for streng) with clear poly. its cheaper and will last longer than epoxy in this type of scenario and aplication. they coudld go 5052 from hustman but the 300% extra value is not worth in this case.

Ivan Gamers I’m just joking around. After seeing them box the frame and how well they both did, I have faith. Especially in Hert’s abilities. That being said, I think Dan and Jose’s knowledge on building an FIA approved cage is extremely valuable input that I would want if I were them.

The camera quality in this episode was amazing which brought me to miss something only the OG’s are going to remember. In a future episode we need some shake cam...just for GP.

The shake cam is reserved for Vin and Hert only, one of them does it on accident the other on purpose lmao. They don't do much filming anymore :P

and getting wisefab to build a whole new steering solution? Like a low angle kit but with custom knuckles and rack & pinon conversion made by them... that would be sooo sick just for flex points & it would solve the steering suggestion box problem at least a little bit lmao

I like how Scotto had to specify that nitrous was a spray, versus some other corner of ebay where it can be had in frosting consistency and a gelatinous coating.

Suppy and Scotto are like my dad listening to my mom “uhuhh...wow...”

I know this gets posts on every episode but this build series is quite possibly the best one you guys have done yet. Having everyone involved in one way or another is great.

Please please PLEASE tell me that you kept the side skirts. Having 26s with the side skirts is just a good look.

Okay I’m quite impressed I have to say. Like from the actual thought process of making the rear lights work, and now actually building a rollcage. There’s so many fast donks driven by actual DRIVERS and 1000* hp on 26-30” rims down a track and nobody cares enough to invest in an actual cage or the electrics behind the rest of the clean donk. I give you props , I’m curious to see how the finished project looks.👍🏽

Had that same roof issue with a '77 Cutlass in HS, only I had a permanant moon roof over the back seat once I removed the landau.

Those vinyl roofs are notorious for rotting out like that. Moisture gets in under the fabric and then can't get out.

In regards to vin jobs, Subarus are covered in vins, they're in the quarters, all over the place. A taxi Outback got busted when it went to the dealer for some maintenance and they discovered it was literally two different cars welded together down the middle.

Best build series, everyone getting in on it.

I use SEM rust trap for all the frames I do, works great and its top coatable, very forgiving too
