Thanks for the video... Heck I watched about half of it and then jumped into my game and reconfigured my character's gear just to see what I could do with what I had available. I have to say, it really changed how I viewed rifle builds. I'm used to assault rifles just melting people but man, one shot/one kill on these guys is so nice!!

I've been having trouble finishing a nice rifle build. I honestly had no idea about the importance of the 150%HD damage. Thanks alot for showcasing this and explaining in such awesome detail! Always look forward to your content. 🤘👍💪 Oh, I haven't gotten a virginian yet. I love the 1886. It seems like a weapon alot people underestimate!

If you swap out the Exotic Knee Brace for the Exotic Holster that buffs the pistol and the Mask that deals 20% Head damage when an elite approaches you and you miss the Head shot, you switch to Pistol and if you have the buff of the active headhunter deals 20M at first body shot, if you remain in the head you continue to 20M damage

Headhunter is a beautiful talent. I have been using it on my sniper build for over a week now. It's not easy to use but well worth it being able to 1 shot npc's

noice i just made a similar buila a few days ago. I got that eye. I use the mantis instead...but noice man. I sometimes switch vigilance for bloodsucker as its less situational and gives armor back.

Just FYI if you press G or click "Item Details" at the bottom after you bring up your inventory, it shows the item details to the right instead of having to click each piece of gear. Makes it easier/faster to view things.

So i have come back to division 2, hadn't played in a while but i like to use rifles and after reaching 40 and having all 40 gear i'm like let me see what rifle guides up there, very first part of this video shows recommendation of using sharpshooter specialization.... i didn't even know that existed or you could go to right to see a couple more specializations!! hahaha. I have this talent already, with my sniper bulid.. and it’s giving me about 55 million with nemesis sniper. It’s insane damage , i kill the bosses from one shot only.

Is there a limit on headshot damage and is chance capped at 60?

does farming for this through targeted loot not work? never seen it before and ive been playing a while

Got a question for you, Patrick. Is it possible to get the Virginian from targeted loot? I've done quite a bit of targeted rifle farming and have never seen this rifle drop.

i have a near perfect rolled m1a with boomerang, might use it for this build just for the lulz.

The only thing I changed was the chest piece. I don't have enough headshot damage for Headhunter. Instead I have spotter. So I picked the sharpshotter drone to scan the enemies and receive the 15% from spotter.

How do you get the Virginian?

I finally got a virginian! But I am not getting the damage numbers in heroic instances in testing this build. I am hitting about 30% headshot kills. It could be that I am moving but mostly only getting single million damage - 1-3m. I think the highest I saw was 12M (but that was like one time). Maybe I am just terrible at HS without the scope. But i find myself moving with shield I think that is going to negate the Sawyers, so maybe flip back to foxes and put on the gila holster that you mention... Advice? also there is a minimum of 150% HS damage is their a maximum?

i'm getting the same. i'm thinking the numbers are from an earlier TU or something..

So what happens when you need to kill an enemy that doesn't register headshot damage such as a Heavy or DOG? I suppose you can shoot em with the BK but you're lossing out on your chest talent.

When I was on console it worked jus as well for me

I have very similar stats and not hitting any near to those numbers. So not sure what is wrong.

Nice build problem is my aim isn't close to that getting headshots for me is a mission in its own right but the build is great 👍👍👍

Clooi Yt use 1886 its way better

Well... He always recommends that if you are having trouble hitting the headshots you go for CHC. But it is not difficilt to get the HS, you just have to pick your targets. (This goes for PVE of course, PVP is a whole different story)

So my question about the build I guess would be: if your constantly 1 shotting and moving on. When would you be sitting still for 10 seconds between enemies to proc the kneepads?

It’s up to you to proc it the fact that you are immune to stagger is strong enough on its own

For any reason, i find your one shoot sniper build easier to play. Maybe it is a different thing on console but i land headshoots easier with that build. 🤷🏼‍♂️

What do you think of the negotiator set? Worth using?

Made the build ( great informitive video by the way ) But for the life of me I just cannot get those headshots on console lol... Do you have a viable shotty build for legendaries? Doubt one even excists.

A Crit chance, crit damage build with an LMG or an AR if you don't want to use a rifle.

I call this “The Stapler” build.

Nice build. I love how people are already complaining how its near impossible to headshot on console. Look its harder yes but its not as difficult as people make it out to be. Play around with the sensitivity settings. And practice. I love one shotting named enemies with my build

i run full shield with liberty perfect headhunter punch drunk and go for head shot dmg, easiest heroic with all directives ever. smooth 1 taps, no worries about ammo. ez skip to 4:44 where i manage to 1 tap the end boss for lincoln kzread.info/dash/bejne/c5p13LOjoNKddNY.html

The virginian is a dz exclusive apparently. Gotta farm the dz when loot allocation is rifle. I think it may be in the shops sometimes

@@sethjones7785 I found out soon after I posted. I'm not a fan of DZ at all. I'll probably settle for the 1886. I wish DZ drops were for DZ only. Stuff that related to DZ specifically. They also changed the vendors so you need DZ points. Cruel move if you ask me.

Love it when I see builds like this.... Tanky build that puts out ridiculous damage from behind a shield no less! This game will never be balanced because the devs don’t know the definition of the word.

Great video! Sadly, I don’t even get close to these numbers … i‘ve 41cc, 92cd, 151hd. Vigilance and Perfect HH, 2 Piece Prob, 1 Česka, 1 Grupo, Tom Sawyer‘s Knees. Hit 3-4M with a crit, then up to 9M with the chest talent procced. Anyone any idea why the numbers differ so much?

Okay makes more sense now that i actually read the talents. But how are you hitting that hard every shot cuz headhunter is only for 1 shot of your last kill's damage?

Ok NM. I get it now. I was looking at numbers in the booth which stays at 9 million for some reason. But everything has to line up perfectly to get max damage. Unless everything lines up before you kill an elite at full health the talent isnt very good at all. For example if the talents proc after you kill an enemy with very low health then your damage isnt that much different.

I really want to like Sawyers Knees but like so many items and talents in this game they're only viable on difficulties lower than Heroic or if running in a group.

I use them in the raid they are in my eyes one of the best exotics in the game people are just to lazy to use them

Could You make some video about farming DZ currency where You show actual route or something ? I was trying to find some decent video on yt about it but most of them end up by saying ru around and open caches :( I was avoiding DZ but since this rifle is soo good i would like to start farming that efficently. Thanks in advance.

You get DZ currency from deconstructing contaminated loot. IMO best way to stack up on the currency. The only disadvantage is you still need to extract it as opposed to the looted DZ currency which you get immediately as a resource.

At 17:51 the damage you are saying is 20 Million but the one showing in the screen is only 9.8 Million. Can you explain mate?

The max visual damage is 9.8 million on the shooting range. You can still see actual numbers when your bullets hit
