Great video, this really opened my mind to a lot of different build ideas, im definitely going to try the artificer with the shield!

Once again, I really thank you Patrick for showing your community this build. This by far is one of the best PVE builds I have ran with. Great DPS and survivability in one build. Since I dont play PVP at all, I dont have the Emperors knee pads, but I put on another piece of Belstone Armory for the knees. Gives me 10% armor on kill, it works great for now. I can see, where the 1% armor regen will be needed for harder content in the Summit. I play the summit on Heroic with 3 directives on and have no problem with content. I have not reach floor 100 yet, but hoping to farm the DZ for the Emperors knee pads before I do. Once again a great build and thank you.

Used this build last night running 91-100 of the summit. Worked perfectly. The armor Regen on the build is insane...works really well when the directive is activated where you don’t heal.

I am going to try it. I’m also going to carry the new shotgun for times when I think I’m going to get rushed.

Did you consider swapping to Kard pistol for the skill tier when youre falling back and shield is about to break?

I solo everything and have tried quite a few builds as of late; I've liked the Hunter Fury with gunner skill, Striker with Demo skill, and some status effect hybrid stuff but I'm a bit too squishy with the status build in Summit. Having the Memento bag is fantastic as I've changed my whole playstyle around it. Intimidate is amazing with the bag but I used it almost exclusively with the Bloodsucker and a paired shotgun or Emeril's guard SMG for a lot of my early play time. Building around CQB buffs and bonus armor is the key as you don't really need the shield with strategic planning. =)

Nice build, I put one together but not maxed out yet! I run to with the mechanical animal!

Good Build. You can buy the kneepads from a DZ trader this week (13.10) so its a lot easyer to get it

What backpack would you recommend if I don’t have the memento?

if u wanted to get a bit more out of ur shield or other SHD gadgets u could use the new custom KARD sidearm since it gives a skill tier

I’m running a similar build, but with 1 blue and 4 reds with a momento. With firewall, the amplified damage means I’m running over 1 million crit body, with ld. fox’s prayer and contractor gloves, give super high damage. The armour regen and holstered shield regen work with each other, so I rarely have to use any kits.

Ok this build is amazing I didn't have all the correct peaces with all the correct rolls so I put on what I have and its the type of build I was looking for as a solo player I recommend this build

Is there a reason you run the G36 with in-sync rather than a similarly rolled mechanical animal?

Definitely want to give this a go, that backpack looks amazing and I want to have a build that uses it

it looks like yes, with the survivability and regen, some things will be scaled for pvp stats, but yeah. why not? won't be getting the momento stacks as much though right? so base stats from momento would be about it...

This looks like a build for me. Playing most of the time solo and open world content. What would you suggest other than In-Sync? Viable with Chameleon?

This can work with a Chameleon. I switched this up by swapping in a 3 piece Strikers gear set for the 15% Rate of Fire increase and the Chameleon its like a fire hose. Bullets stream out like a mini-gun!

This be a good build when TU11.1 comes then you can choose not to have ammo and skills directives

What could be a good alternative to those kneepads ?

You're not reading the In Sync talent description correctly - as few are - and not paying attention to the buff icon(s) while using your weapon. Pulling out your shield only buffs your weapon damage for 5 seconds. When you're damaging an enemy with your weapon you will see 2 gear icons for 5 seconds, then 1 will drop off, which means that you're now only buffing skill damage by continuing to damage an enemy with your weapon. The only way to keep the weapon buff active is by continuously damaging an enemy with a skill, such as a drone. So, the In Sync talent isn't worth using unless you're also using a skill That deals damage at least once every 5 seconds to keep the weapon buff up, in which case it is awesome. I really enjoy your videos and generally get a lot out of them but I wish you'd look into this because you and a lot of other content creators are misinforming your viewers. All you need to do to test it is to go to the firing range full after shield and start firing and watch as the 2 gear icons drop to one after 5 Seconds. I have made a video explaining this in full detail I normally pull out my shield all the time to use that or put a drone on but sometimes in legendaries you need to keep your shield up to survive nothing can do about that so then if you want use a different talent I’m sure everyone knows how this works by now

I should qualify what I said by mentioning that the Firewall Specialization's "Striker Shield" will keep the In Sync talent active so long as there's an enemy in the buff cone in front of it. Other shields just proc it for 5 seconds when you pull them out, so a different weapon talent might be more useful with them.

Would the Chameleon or Burn Out be good alternatives for a primary AR?

I still think the Chameleon is the best "general purpose" AR in that it always gives you *something* (crit, dmg, reload) as long as you play mid to close range. The Burn Out is AWESOME when used at longer range with Focus and 8x scope. Burn Out is my current fave, but It depends on your style.

I can never truly adapt these builds on console that said I used one of your Summit builds and went from 81-90 so thanks. Avid follower

I struggled as well with these types of builds on console. Then I've set maximum sensitivity on camera and while aiming to 20 and it is manageable now.

How do you get the damage number on the side like that ???

Does the DMG bonus per enemy work with crusader shield? Always thought it worked only with the firewall shield

I'm confused by the In-sync talent. In order to maintain that 30% extra damage don't you need to be running a skill that is actively causing damage, like a striker drone or turret? Or is the idea to just use/remove shield as much as possible to keep the full buff active?

As it is written "Using a skill OR damaging an enemy with a skill" So you just need to pop your shield or get a Hive Boost to activate that part of the Buff. But in this case it will only last five seconds because to refresh the weapon damage part of the Buff you actually need something that hits the enemy at least once every five seconds.

Yes. I have ran this before through legendary however depending on play style you may want more dmg especially if you use a liberty and its passive can freely repair your shield based off stacks.

Random question. How do you get the damage numbers like that? Is that a pc thing or can that be done on console? PS4 user here.

13:05 I don't get how the shield is tier 5. 1 yellow 3 blue cores should be tier 4? I have the exact same build minus the Emperor's Guard (but still the same core count) but my shield is at tier 4 before Future Perfect kicks in.

You could try using another belstone piece there to give you 10% armor on kill. Not the same as regen but at least you get more on kill.

Is it 15% or 30% from insync? Doesn't the shield only proc half?

On using the shield u get 15% weapon DMG.. while u shooting u get 15% Skill DMG.. if both are active at the same time.. u get total 30% of weapon DMG and skill dmg

Anything TU10 basically. With TU11 Memento is best in slot for most builds.

I had no idea you could get armor regen that HIGH and still be able to smack! I was shocked at your crits man, 9n a GOOD day I'm hitting 200-350k crits with LMG and AR

The biggest problem with these build videos is if you don't have 12 hours a day to grind for each piece of perfectly rolled gear you'll never be able to match it. I'd like to see a viable build without using god tier gear.

@@PatrickWolfChannel That doesn't much matter, it's also how long you've been playing. What I've found is that having such a high shade level is huge when it comes to these builds. The reality is that you aren't doing legendary solo with this build unless your shade points are nearly maxed out. That +10% CC +20% CD + 10% WD makes a massive difference. Never mind the other points that give your survivability, etc.

So build with the best pieces you can manage to find, and don't play it on Legendary - the hardest difficulties are there to keep things challenging for those who do have all the time/skill/luck necessary to play them. Game is just as fun on lower difficulties if you don't have the all the god-rolled items.

I understand the purpose for the shield. But whenever I see one pulled out, I click off. I'm not about to start using one just to get better loot that should be already dropping on challenging anyway and more often. Devs can go F off. Great channel otherwise.......
