The way he answers questions is bad - not transparent. He knows its a scary result when AI develops past certain stages, and he doesn't want to be truthful and direct about it.

man.. they are really just evading concrete answers around safety concerns... "yeah we will really need this".. "security is super important to us".. Its sad that OpenAI feels like the next tech bro company spitting out "the latest and greatest version of AI ever"

The only question Lester should have asked and didn’t… Sam… why are you ok with Open going from an Open non profit model to a closed for profit model. Lost any respect I had for Lester after this. Dropped the ball dude.

I do agree it’s a little sus to have the name Open in the name however Sam has answered that question many many times in other interviews…it’s no longer a novel question.

What is needed is clear categorization. AI only, AI-Human symbiosis, and Human only. An Index, velocity and directions and benchmarks, and historical preservations. The existential threats come from non visible AI only, first movers and sims. Shovels are above and underground. Driving is the art of stopping.

I think Sam and Brian continue to dodge the most important safety questions with blanket statements that sound nice in theory. They continue to talk about how society will be in the conversation to shape the values with feedback. What feedback are they using to shape it? As a regulatory measure, they should be asked to accumulate specific feedback and publicly display what new code was written to address those concerns. It should start to be public knowledge of who is shaping the brain of this world-wide tutor, as millions of people are asking it questions and expecting facts and truths to be learned from it. We should start to be able to vote on its value system, as it is now guiding people through learning of politics and religion. This is too powerful to be left to Sam and his executives to decide its future. New regulatory measures should get the public tangibly involved with voting measures and public displays of what new code is being implemented along with who was in charge of implementing that code to create a system of accountability for when things go wrong, which inevitably they will at some point down the line.

A fair reset. No one is only fairly good or bad and the civil rights of humans deserve the right to come together with traditional opponents, instead of cementing the Hiroshima moment of emergent AI, a lot of people start to recognize that SAI-AGI has an unrecognized end.. a common facing of humanity against later SAI. Yet many helps remain with AI- AGI. Know the difference.

Chesky is using my intellectual property illegally. Airbnb should pay compensation for that. That was not for free use. He did not start that platform from scratch. Airbnb should have copyrights infringements. Any papers from my ex wife Olga are illegal papers, she is not suppose to make any papers. Airbnb is using illegal papers. If Airbnb is sending any money to Olga, that is because of fraud and false statements. Airbnb could not be traded, because of beginning with illegal papers. That is my platform, business model, Airbnb had to have my attorney and agreement. From 1992 till today I live in the USA, if Olga and her people were telling I am overseas, that is fraud. Expect Olga’s forgery for some legal papers. I was not overseas.
