These shows with Gabriel have been amazing. I was introduced to mental prayer about 8 months ago. I am still struggling to understand it. This conversation really answered a lot of my questions. AND also added more books to my to-do list. Thanks so much for doing this episode. I'd love to hear more like this in the future.

Dan wrote a book with Connie Rossini, The Contemplative Rosary, which instantly changed my rosary to the story of Jesus. Our Lady calls us to know and love her Son as she does. 🙏❤️

I started mental prayer with the rosary.... I didn't even know I was meditating but it used to take an hour or so to pray a rosary. I found the Hail Marys lulled my mind out of distractions and then after each decade I just imagined the particular mystery. I'm sure Our Lady teaches those of us without teachers in this way :D

That's beautiful! I once read that the Rosary is like a "school of Mary" so now when I meditate on the mysteries but somehow feel disconnected, I ask our Blessed Mother what she wants to teach me in order to grow in my relationship with our triune God
