Yes, and the chaotic homes are reflective of a mental/emotional imbalance. I've seen it before. It's very sad. What a man/woman can manifest outside of themselves is a reflection of their inner world.

I did not know about them until I watched Auri. I don't buy any other sponges now. They last much longer than all the other brands. Even the sponge part last much longer and they don't get smelly like the other brands. They are the best thing ever.

I know. I feel the same about my apartment. It's not nowhere near as bad as these, but I'm overwhelmed. People say "do 5 minutes then 10 minutes" but that does nothing either bc let's say you go big and clean the whole bathroom and it's perfectly clean... well then you have to KEEP cleaning the bathroom while also doing the "10 minute cleaning" a day and it just doesn't work when you're whole house is a disaster. I've tried it. And then being consistent with it and FORCING yourself to do it EVERY DAY is much harder than just getting it all done at once and then keeping it clean by cleaning for about 30 minutes a day, depending on your house size and people living there. But trying to clean something where every room, every surface is dirty, just 10 minutes a day will never work. Bc where you've cleaned will be dusty again by the time you get the WHOLE PLACE cleaned just 10 minutes at a time. And like I said, if you get the bathroom clean, well then you gotta clean the kitchen the next day and most times people who have this issue aren't gonna feel like doing it the next day. That's why it's the best to clean it all at once and then upkeep the clean by cleaning a you go. If you dirty a dish, when you finish it, wash it immediately. Don't let a "load" build up. Wash your clothes as soon as enough for one load is made. Clean up as you're cooking. Like I know how to keep a clean house, but I don't know how the hell to find the energy/motivation to get my apartment back to clean so I can keep it that way!

I wish people as a whole were as empathetic and kind as you are. Depression is cancer of the soul and mind. People are losing their children to depression induced hoarding and messiness, when people simply need care, help, and empathy. Hearing you calmly and gently explain the back story while the cleaning is shown brings tears to my eyes. We as a society need more of this.

Sometimes I automatically do longer but often I can't do more because of mental reasons... At least I really can say, that my apartment (I have to concede it's not that big...) is quite tidy the most time. Wish you all the best, depression is a mean disease but you can do it! I kind of guessed it was because she was too busy. So many times women say they want to wait or that their lives are too busy, men don’t want to wait to start a family like women do, so they will move on. It’s okay to slow for family because so often people are losing their chance as fertility rates plummet after 30 and then women are depressed they missed out. Just commit when you’ve found your partner! Don’t wait! Money comes and goes, but your chance for a family is fleeting.

The longest i went without cleaning was a month but luckily i had a brother to help me. Most people may find it disgusting or being lazy, but please, think twice before you judge, it is not what we want(to live in a mess and trash) it is part of our condition. As someone who battled depression and still does (but do way better than a few years ago) I can totally understand Sophie and the others. At my lowest I couldn´t go out of my bed either and my apartment was a whole mess till I was hospitalized. With a lot of help I´ve done better and managed to clean my apartment like it should be cleaned. And it helped a lot afterwards with my mental health too. I hope everyone you helped is doing better and can look forward too. I wish them all lots of love and all the best ♥ Thank you for helping them clean up so they can start a new life again 🙌

Same here i have Depression and anxiety watching this makes me feel like I'm not alone, It is hard to try to clean my place trying to get it to be how I want it but it's just I give up at times and just feel like what is the point of life what is the point of living but I keep on pushing. When I 1st got my own place I had everything clean everything and then after I lost custody of my daughter I just gave up on everything I just gave up on myself because just what is the point (even though I do still see her it's just not the same) when you try to do everything for a child And you have everything planned out and now it's just being thrown into the trash, I am sort of doing good of now I just have really good support, and people who love me, and my daughter and my cats just keep me pushing.

@Ghost World Thank you for sharing. I was glad to read the end of your post, when you say you're "sort of doing better". Be patient with yourself. Bcoming healthier is a slow process, a slow walk that never ends, not a race to just get to a finish line. You are on that slow walk ... doing it, one step, one word, one action, at a time. Please do not give up! Nothing has been thrown in the trash, especially not you. You wrote you have good support and people who love you ... that is wonderful!

I use to house clean, as I love cleaning and organising. But mental illness has stopped that. I'm not in a bad situation like the homes you do, but it hurts to clean and i've been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue and CPTSD. I'm slowly turning it all around but I have been sick for a long time. I first got REALLY sick in 2013 and that took 4 years and I still have side affects to that.. then i got COVID (2019) before it became a pandemic and I'm still getting over that today in 2023. I'm slowly getting help, a lot of red tape... but I love watching your videos. I feel inspired and remember I use to be you!
