The Dirt Is Good For You - Riding Suzuki DR650

Ойын-сауық

A little under the weather but the desert beckoned on this warm Fall day.
So I hopped on my DR650 and headed back to an area I had previously begun to explore.
I didn't necessarily feel like getting into anything gnarly so I decided to stay on the 'groomed' dirt road which turned out to be a very twisty path leading up and down for a very scenic ride.
I'm anxious to return with the XT250 and get deep into the backcountry to figure this whole area out and figure out a nice loop ride and/or a way to get from the Slaughter Creek Wilderness area of Southwestern Utah into the Beaver Dam State Park of Nevada. Onward and upward...

A day without a dirt road to ride is like a day without sunshine.....great way to relieve stress and release some pressure of everyday life.....what a place to ride you have.....I am jealous

I’m really enjoying your videos, hope you’re feeling back to 100% soon. One quick question: do you feel you can ride more difficult terrain on the XT250 than the CRF300? Is the CRF less capable? Do you know why? I have no motorcycle skills at all, just curious which works better for you and why. Thanks!

Certainly appreciate you watching! Yes, the XT250 is easier to ride in difficult terrain mainly because it is smaller and lighter. Makes a big difference. Also, the gearing in the XT helps.
