    I'm always confused when they say Achilles is gay for Patroclus simply bec they hang out very often, very much love each other and Achilles cried heavily when Patroclus died, like have they never had a close relative friend they hang out often? And then it dawned on me, oh yeah these people hate their families.

    it is generally a myth that many ancient greek men engaged in homosexual relationships. it was actually caused by a miss-translation. ancient greek has different words for love between people. the word for an emotional bond between 2 men and a man and a woman would be different.

    People like to say that Alexander the Great was gay because he had a close male friend. I think it's just them projecting. I was listening to the Confessions of Augustin on audiobook today and he mentioned his friend who died and he had a love for. It's not gay love, it's your homeboy.

    Alexander definitely wasn't gay - he was married to two women and had a son by one of them. But he also definitely wasn't totally straight. While it isn't explicitly stated anywhere that he was having sex with his friend Hephastion, it is stated quite explicitly by chroniclers that he did have a sexual relationship with his eunuch Bagoas.

Plenty gay kings were married with kids too too, James I of England being an example or Fredrick the Great were both married and they were gay.Ivan the Terrible of Russia was attracted to men in womens clothing Being married and providing an heir was just a duty. As far as Alexander, his father Philip II had gay lovers as well so like father like son.Jesse is just an idiot.

    The Greeks being gay is one of the biggest psyops of all time. Metatron has a great vid on this. There is no art, no literary references, and no mythological basis for the Greeks widely accepting homosexuality. The Spartans were not gay, pederasty was is wildly misinterpreted, and physiologists explained homosexuality as an affliction and it was punishable in Athens by multiple sentences. I could go on

The world is just trying to take away male friendships because they’re pure and beautiful and two men who love each other are stronger than a man standing on his own.     How do you get to hell? Very simple: claim that you're innocent. How do you get to heaven? Very simple: Admit that you're not Innocent, you're guilty and ask for mercy. How to know if you're guilty or not? Simply: Compare your life to the Ten Commandments God gave you in the Bible. Everyone agrees that if people followed the ten commandments there would be no need for governments or police. Do not lie. Do not steal. Do not commit adultery. Do not insult God by using his name as a cuss word. There are six more but let's just leave it at that. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you? Jesus said, if you look at a women lustfully you've already committed adultery in your heart with that woman. How many times a day do you do that? Do you use God's name as a cuss word? Would you do that with your own mother's name? If you answer these questions honestly you know that you're guilty. God can justly punish you and send you to hell. Ask him for mercy. His name is Jesus. It's as simple as this, The Ten Commandments are called the moral law. You and I broke God's laws. Jesus paid the fine. The fine is death. Ezekiel 18:20 - "The soul who sins shall die." That's why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins. This is why God is able to give us Mercy. Option A. You die for your own sins. Option B. Ask for mercy and accept that Jesus died on the cross for you. ❤ *Honest questions are welcome.*❤ ;;;

    Do not take God's name in vain has nothing to do with using God as a cuss word! It has to do with committing sins in his name. For instance when the Muslim terrorist flew planes into the world trade center and claimed they did it to please God...that is taking God's name and attaching it to evil intent. That's what is meant by taking his name in vain.

    @@cocokai9661 would you allow someone to use your loved one's name as a cuss word to express disgust? There are many, many ways to use the Lord's name in vain. Vain memes empty or worthless. The name of Jesus was used 40 times in the latest Batman movie, why?

    Geeks actually were not gay. Less than .1 percent of pottery depicts gay acts and even then mostly they are sayters which get a bad rap for a lot of reasons. Being gay was generally viewed as unproductive because it didn't result in children.

    So, good male friendships are gay now? That either reduces the gay experience to mere friendship, or, conflate a platonic relationship to a sexual relationship. Both seem wrong.

    To claim that Ancient Greece was gay in the same way that the modern west is gay is absurd. Homosexuality has always existed but it was absolutely not accepted or promoted similarly to us now. Athens had punishments for homosexuality including sodomy with a radish. Most of all, the practice of pederasty was ABSOLUTELY not inherently p do-filic in nature. This mostly stems from a misunderstanding of the ancient Greeks’ ideas of love and its different, not always sexual connotations (and a single historian in the 70s who basically started this claim, who was later found to be padding his research) For example, Socrates was famously indifferent to the sexual nature of pederasty in his early life then completely flipped and in Republic called it animalistic and ugly. I could go on but I’m eating rn

    Given that accusations of homosexuality were BY FAR the most common slander that ancient Greek politicians would use to defame their political opponents, it's highly unlikely that homosexual relations were socially acceptable in ancient Greece!! That and recorded legislation that punished homosexuality even by death, even in "liberal" Athens!

    Same with the Roman’s. “Trans” people were deemed mentally Ill and forced to work in brothels. They like to bring up the “trans” emperor, oh the one that the praetorians killed for being unfit to rule? Yup. These fkn people don’t realize that the ancient world had laws that changed all the time just like us. 😂😂
