This was the first movie I saw with the chick that would became my first gf (now ex) and best friend back in 2012. We lasted for nine years. We met in a meetup with common friends to watch a movie. The hunger games in a local mall that had an iconic movie theater in our town. It was at the mid of March or beginning of April. We started going out with my cousin and his gf which coincidentally was my ex gf younger sister. She was tired of being a third wheel so my cousin brought me in thinking himself too clever. I cant recall if by the first movie the hunger games or the second one not long after that (wrath of the titans) we exchanged numbers (or blackberry PINs to be more exact) and little by little we got to know each other by chatting at every waking hour. i was a NEET back in that moment. I just left a food service job with some modest savings though. We became friends, then after months of going out to the same mall, watching any movies and then eating something in mcdonalds or whatever, maybe varying with arcade, we took the next step to go out alone by ourselves. A proper date. I'll never forget it. it was a cloudy day, with light raining. My aunt left me there in her car. I was nervous even though we had met in that place countless of time... it-s funny this was the movie that we settle for but we just needed an excuse to be alone. It was exhilarating those first months of watching movies together, seating close, touching our arms. in November 11th, so some months later i asked her out at the end of Skyfall when the credits starte drolling. I even tried to kiss her mid movie! I was too stupid jesus christ... anyways she say she's gonna thought about it but it took her 10 minutes to confirm it. We we so young back then... That movie theater became a staple of our relationship. Where everything began and eventually little by little developed. And after we moved together to a small apartment we kept going to that same mall to watch movies and eat junk food. We eventually moved to another country because ours was in shambles. We kept going to theaters in that new country too. After almost 4 years in that new country we broke up. In march 19th 2022 we split and left our separate ways. I was unconsolable. In November 3rd of that same year, after living many months alone and barely seeing each other to catch up (she claimed she was in love with a dude she met previously to our definitely break up), we say our final farewell and final hug. I saw her sad expression until the elevator doors blocked her view and mine. I had a sad expression too, because the reflection from the doors told me so. I fucked up in so many ways, and communication wasn't as great as we thought. And we both needed therapy and never went due to culture i guess. and lack of means maybe... Every little fuck up culminated in one big fuck up in 2020. A betrayal. A weird creepy betrayal. I didn't own it, i denied it until the end. I never was frank with her and she gave me many chances even though we weren't together. She knew it, I knew it. I just couldn't deal with the truth and was too embarrassed. I don't know for how long i'll carry this guilt and shame. But even though she wasn't perfect, she was a shine of light in my world. She changed me for the better on most aspects. In other it was for the worst. But overall it was positive in my case. I think she wouldn't say the same. In one of our last conversations in her new apartment we agreed our best time were living by ourselves in our home country, especially when we moved by ourselves. It was a small window of 2 years but it was an oasis in that desert of a town. Here I'm, way older, wiser, probably depressed, adrift, longing, trying to move on and live a day at a time, sometimes my memory betraying me and remembering those sweet moments, or the terrible things we did to each other, or the best things we did to each other, the hugs, the kisses, sleeping together like a pair of cats, telling ourselves our dreams and ambitions, sharing our million inside jokes nobody could ever understood, laughing at our stupid sense of humor and autistic jokes, sharing our passion for movies, going out, me helping her with whatever entrepeurnership or project she had as she did with mine. All the times she saved me from a shitty job. And I just feel I paid her with a knife in the back. If I were another dude this is a solid reason to unaliving myself. But I won't. Too many people love me or care about me, and I don't want to create more drama. I don't want to inconveniece her or my mom. I have a cat to take care of. I have a project i'm starting soon. I'm gonna be 33 soon. No college degree, barely a job that pays little but enough to eat. I came back to live in my granma's home where I grew up. I feel like this stage is purgatory and I deserve this for being a moron.

“American Civil Jihad” and Nadal’s face after had me dying from laughter. But in all honesty, this movie is hilariously stupid but clever at the same time.
