OMG I cannot believe those dummies had control of the control room, failed to close the walls, then when it was 3 on 1 they just bugged out of the control room back into the trap and let themselves be trapped. All they had to do was flip a switch? That was so overwhelmingly dumb I couldn't believe them XD They're making it too easy for the killer at this point.

choice of say nothing if i rember correct, when walls start to move, that distracts him.... same as with reverse button, coz i do rember someone was abel to press reverse butoon more than once, dont rember wich choice was, was it say nothing or not playing his game and person with screwdriver was the one who had to ''die''.. unless i mixed it with some other game...

This game has that amazing story and scare factor of Until Dawn, but the characters have way more redemption. Some of them started kind of dickish, but they've gotten better over time and you can tell most of it is rooted in insecurity.

Well here’s the thing, i tried listening to ur bedtime stories and I fell ASLEEP. No clue where I left off >:(

nope, i do rember both of them survived when someone else was playing, neither was crushed with glass. correct choice was say nothing and person who have a screwdriver is the one who had to be crushed, in this case jamie, if kate had it both of them would survive.. so jamie had to choose say nothing and would not do anything and while she is one with screwdriver both of them would live, if she would give screwdriver to kate, then choice had to be i dont want to die and press the button and both would live... i hate in games when people choose themselves over smeone else.. it is a game, experiment, there is a study wich says that such video games with such choices give a lot about people' charchter and that in a situations, where they had to choose like this, they probably would choose themselves over others. that often includes family members... surving ethnical cleansing and a war, literaly saw and went thru hell when city felt, i can actually say that this type of games are very good indicator how someone could behaive.. coz i saw parents sacrifisng themsleves for their kids shileding them with bodies, uting them behind back, covering their eyes etc, while there were parents who had such strong self preserv instinct , almost going reptile mode, that they would switch any rational thinking, any emotions, they would only be concentrating on themsleves and their survival. leaving kids behind, kids who were barely 5 or 8.. my mum for example would go into such histerical and panic mode that she was not abel to think str8, running like headless chicken, dragging us, while me, even thou i was only 9 always had this feeling inside me, like a gut and when my mum startedt o yell at me to move, to cross the street draging me i yelled to my sister to stay behind and not moved.. she listened, she chose not to listen mum but me. that saved her life, i was the one hited by shell.. i saw often that people in this games make decisions rushly, in panic, or with emotions, very littel number of people pay attention to details and think thru before making choice, most of people are oh i like this charchter other will die, choosing themsleves over other.. if they do like that in game, imagine in real situation what kind of mees they would be and how rushed their choices and decisions would be. majority of people who i know who survived some serious shit, from trafficking, to c camps, to sieges are people who faced the fear, put it aside, used ''reptile'' mode in extreme situations and most of time they stayed calmed, rational and made smart choices instead rushed, emotinal and panicked ones..

Man I'm so sad 😭 maybe the "I'm not playing his game" choice would've made Jaime try harder with the screwdriver and break the wall?

Could the hint from The Curator possibly means that the guy wearing the mask is just the stooge or the dragon to an even bigger threat, probably the ones manning the camera around the premises? *HE has a brain of the first order:* Probably means that the dude wearing the H.H.H mask is doing the bidding on the behalf of someone else, which could be Mr Du Met or maybe that brute going around wearing the mask IS Du Met or it could be the Groundskeeper in the yellow raincoat. Someone is the BRAIN of the operation and the ones lurking around is just the Henchman. *HE is motionless like a spider in the center of it's web. But the web has thousands of radiation and HE knows well EVERY quiver of each of them:* That's just hinting at the cameras that's around the premises and the animatronics that we already know of. The Curator emphasizes that it's a HE so that grandma we see a glimpse of earlier in the game could probably just be an animatronic with a voice recorder or it could just be a rotting corpse. Maybe it's an American Psycho type of deal where the murderer just hallucinates about his dead mother talking to him. Maybe it's the murderer cross dressing like his mom. Don't know about *motionless* though, maybe it's a decrepit old man like SAW. But we all know there's going to be a twist somewhere. I also haven't finished the video so that hint might've been useless by the time the video's finished lmao

I can't say I'm a true fan enthusiast because it scares the hell out of me. I'm more of a visual novel fan but when you have morph reading all the convos, it's like listening to your very own audiobook version of true crime games and then I imagine him doing it with visual novel and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Oh my god, it's 130am but you left part 1 on such a cliffhanger Morph that I have to watch 🤣

Right in the beginning when things first escalated with Jamie, Charlie and the dude in the raincoat getting impaled it made me think that Jamie was in on it tbh. I just felt like her reaction was way too calm. But now I honestly have no clue if any of them even are on the killer's side or who it could be. Really loving this game and your playthrough though! I feel like this one is actually the best of the series so far (and maybe even the best of this genre since Until Dawn). As you said, the characters and their relationships with each other really make you care about them this time around and also the subject matter is just way scarier to me than any sci-fi creature or monster. It's taking me so long to watch this because I keep having to pause and go do something else because I can't take the tension 😅

As you were reading the Morello book, I thought to myself, "This guy's voice is so lovely. Wonder if he has an asmr channel or something." The moment I finished that thought, you plugged Down to Sleep lmao guess I'm subbing to that channel too. ❤

If this game is supernatural in nature then the Curator's first hint *(He has the brains of the first order)* might just mean that whatever "devil" that Holmes claimed to had possessed him to do his evil deed had found a new home in, Du Met or whoever this masked man is. No clue about the 2nd hint though. Also I'm glad I'm not the only one suspicious about the game leaning too hard for it to be Agent Munday, it's too obvious that it might just be a misdirect. Also the little girl that hastily boarded the ferry with Joseph Morello (fake Du Met) has the clothing that looks a lot similar to Megan from Little Hope. It could just be them rehashing the same model though.

I wouldn't say I "enjoy" true crime, but last year I listened to ten thousand hours of true crime podcasts on Spotify.

Fifteen minutes in and I think the twist just hit me but I also think the one doing the twist is gonna find out they are being twisted too.

In case anyone needs to know, the way to save Kate I'm pretty sure (if my memory serves correctly) is to do the same things as Morph, but have Kate take the screwdriver instead of Jamie 😊

Yeah that's probably what would happen if Morph chooses to go for the llocked door instead of going beneath the grate like he did. It's just a different path. You can also see the the girl in the prologue getting drowned in the tub too but in Morph's playthrough she gets her throat slitted but manages to get out of the bath tub where she presumably dies of blood loss. It's just different outcomes from different paths chosen.

I'm like a year late but With the whole thing of him choosing the "say nothing" option and ppl getting mad abt it... in his defense, it felt like there was the implication that they would know when to close the walls bc of Jamie saying "You gotta time it perfectly;" if it was Kate saying that to Jamie, the speaking options for Jamie would have been more understandable imo. But it was Jamie who told this to Kate, so it was confusing tbh 😭😭 Like you'd think if your teammates are in a room with cameras right where they wanna see that they'd be able to make the smart decision of looking at the cameras and to time a bunch of moving walls by themselves instead of relying on someone to scream in the hallway where they might not be able to hear☠

I haven't finished watching this video yet, but up until the fire room in the previous video, I was convinced this was all fake. (An optimistic part of me is still hoping it's fake, because up until now, none of the crew members have actually SEEN anyone die. Only the fire in the room and the director sliding under the grates for protection out of the crew's view and (spoiler) -- conveniently a crack in the window that Kate happens to spot that saves her.) Especially, since we hardly see any actual people, other than the crew, only mannequins. And we never see real people harmed, except for something that could've been a mannequin get stabbed, (his face was covered and the body was conveniently instantly removed before it could be investigated) and the director, that might have consented to the nose cut to enhance the experience. I had a theory that all this was set up by one of the crew members (Maybe the director and Kate, thus his whole "Kill my team" recording referring to him arranging the fake murder of the team. for their documentary. Then Kate's comment about that not being in the script referring to the plan the hotel owner, director and Kate made originally. (Which might have been a spur of the moment way to separate her from the group to secretly discuss a change of plans or something.) My theory was strengthened by the fact that the director has been very cryptic from the start about what he arranged with the hotel owner and that so far you've never had the option to play Kate alone, she's always with people, making sure they're going in the right direction, or you don't see what's happening to her. Like this is all some extreme sort of escape room that the hotel owner made (And the escape rooms in this area you're not allowed to take photos or anything either.), and he's allowing the film crew to do this to gain publicity for his hotel and get more customers. And the director is doing it to save his show.

It could just be me, and I'm not trying to be all picky or obnoxious so please don't hate me, but; I find when you're reading stuff in game and then quickly shoehorn in an ad for your bedtime stories it super breaks immersion... So I go from being really invested, sometimes tense, to completely taken out of the storyline/game and sometimes it takes awhile to get back into it. I listen to your podcast and I do love listening to you read stuff, it just might work better to just have that at the beginning or the end instead of in the middle of reading lore... Maybe? Sorry 😔
