It's clear any of them can die. That's the point of the game. To try to save all of them. I don't know if that one instance of the killer walking into the control room and not seeing them next to the door and up against the wall was a bit of plot armor for Kate, Jamie, and Erin. But just cause there's a little doesn't mean always. It felt more like maybe "plot armor" that the player doesn't get to play Mark and Charlie much and Mark and Charlie just happens to progress in many of the scenes when the player returns to them.

I also though there was more than one killer. Like when he was chasing Erin and Jamie on the rooftops, he managed to get down to the ground ridiculously fast. Especially since he never seems to run and was always found that persistent predator shit like Michael Myers...

I think it's possible for him to go that fast. We don't know how much time passed. People have been making killers go that fast or suddenly show up for spooky effects. It's not new. Although the end, with it being impossible for the killer to survive and another person picking up the mask makes me think it's another person. Doesn't mean the second person is a killer. The end where a group wins a trip to a hotel and the host having the same name Du'met might mean he survived.

I'm glad the time machine kicked in. Erin dying no way!

I loooved this playthrough I don't know why but I feel like this game is getting way less attention than the previous games in the series, which is such a shame because imo it's one of the best they have released recently. Also, I found out in the crush room where we lost Kate, you have to let the wall crush whoever has the screwdriver and they will both make it! Kinda makes sense but I never would have thought about that

@@user-gu9yq5sj7c i thought the exact same as gina. right when jaimie tries to calm the dog when she peeks round the corner, there are 2 men. but the 2nd man doesnt have a yellow coat on him, rather a normal coat and a bowler hat. and no mask. was curious too if the 2nd man would come out with dumet but apparently not.

1:00:54 - anyone else notice the other dude in the doorway? had to replay it to check i was seeing things right lmao.

I hated this game. It makes no sense that the killer guy was not recovered from the water and caught. Also, he takes an axe to the chest and is unfazed? Cmon. So much was infuriating. Many of the escapes were just luck, like the balcony thing breaking so they just fall. Pure luck! It didn't make sense that once they knew what was happening none of them made an attempt to get a weapon. It also didnt make sense that with all his insane traps the killer didnt disable the boat, the simplest thing he could have done. I could go on.

Yeah this was badly written and the characters were so basic and mundane. The animations were janky at times too especially that scene with Jamie falling down the scaffolding or whatever. Who falls down a building with their eyes wide open lmao

The Curator didn't want to take his life, that's how he kept surviving

My issue with Erin's death is that it's not well communicated that she'd just die, at least other choices communicated to you, yeah they'd die if you chose the wrong one. I thought Jamie would have done 1 of 2 things. Go on top and unlock the door from the other end or drop something from the top to knock the guy out or something. So I do think that Death was real bs.

The INSISTENCE that the tape was real was what was so aggravating for me. It had such obvious pauses between where it had been cut but she kept going around stating it like it was fact not "oh i heard this but im not sure" just NO GUYS HES TRYING TO KILL US. Took me out of the game, i dont think anyone would really be like that, even in the middle of an intense situation like this.

I think some people can be fooled. Especially if they dislike Charlie, Charlie pressured them to be there, or panicky like Erin. Partly why I wasn't fooled is cause I don't think Charlie would say something like that. And yes, the weird pauses too.

such a good playthrough morph!! though i must say the ending is so frustrating, such a cliffhanger! i almost wish there was a continuation with the characters at the end so we can see more. i definitely think there must have been more people in on it, but not knowing is killing me. can’t wait to see you play the next game if you plan on uploading it!

I thought Erin's theory is fine. It's just a theory. Especially when killers are often mental or antisocial. Criminals would want to hide their identities as much as they can. Such as voice. Then why won't he speak? The killer is wearing a mask. Du'met is probably a fake name. He got someone else to be Du'met for him. He could've hosted the team himself, and still hide he's the killer. He makes Morello (his Du'met imposter) take away their phones and say he's so secretive and that all film has to be approved by him. Often, since writers put in such things like that they do mean that's how the character is and another character was clever to figure it out, and they want to connect the story.

Turn on the lighthouse :') "Hey lighthouse, you're looking pretty fine today" omg, had me in tears.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart, for being an ally in every game you play. The past weekend was hard for LGBTQIA people in the United States, after having another safe space shot up, so seeing someone gushing over a wholesome girlxgirl pairing in this game was much needed. It really helped with healing. Also, I think this is possibly the best of their games! I have been sucked in by the writing at every moment. They really made it next to impossible to have everyone survive!

@@wowplayer160 A) Seems like you're still living in 2017. A safe space isn't a literal place that will keep people safe. A safe space is just a place where people don't have to worry about society constantly badgering them for whatever reason. Whether they be LGBTQ+, minorities or just people who are overworked, stressed out, etc. Imagine being hateful to people for wanting to be themselves (as long as they don't hurt people). Your literal home counts as a safe space as I'm sure you relax and ignore the rest of the world when you're there, even if it's for 10 mins. And B) "You can just reset, no consequences" congratulations, you understand how games work. Would you like a cookie? Yes you can indeed just reset to save everyone, have everyone perish, etc. That's kind of the nature of these games. Glad you're all caught up

I don't understand why they didn't jump him as a trio back in the control room. It's bad enough that they didn't follow the plan, but they couldn't team up for a good ol fashioned jumping? Also, I'm not totally upset about the death, but I wouldn't be opposed to Morph going to a previous save and changing the choices. LMAO yup, the time machine plays favorites.

I wouldn't have gone through the door. Like clearly he was trying to lead them into a trap. I'd have been like fuck you and just keptoving around the room. It's a circular walkway. So honestly he have had to run at them to get to them. So they could have infinitely walked around and around until he charged them. Then like you said they could all have jumped him.

@@Dee-V-Dee I guess they were panicking too much or didn't know is why they ran into enclosed trap rooms. I can see Erin acting like that but the others? The writers probably wanted to show the killer's trap games too and to show how psychotic he is.

I genuinely think there were two murderers: the FBI agent and the killer that "awakened" in him that bloodlust (tha arkansas murderer or something like that?). Maybe I'm wrong, but after the recording of the two in the interrogating room we don't know what happened to the criminal, so maybe they ended up working together on the murder house.

The criminal is the carcass sitting in the interrogation room. He died by electric chair and someone dug up his grave per another tape recording in the game.

Ew that line about trauma bonding being hot was effing gross. No. And was there not enough evidence gathered? How could the SAME NAME and SAME SCAM be repeated that soon?

I played through the game too and now watching other playthroughs to see what others choose. Currently playing through the Curators cut as well which changes up who you play for more info that you don't see in the original. If you go through your evidence that you collect, it states that Hector Monday is the killer. All the names used for the work orders and such (Bleknap, Day, and Du'met) are all aliases that were used by H.H. Holmes. When you get a bunch of connecting clues, it will add comments to them about what happened.

That was so good! I'm glad you released these quickly because I was really caught up in the story. This game was the best in the series so far, and it makes me excited to see what they will create next. Something to look forward to!

That final boat scene was crazy! I think this one was my favorite of the series

It was Munday, he sat listening to Sherman and eventually became twisted and based his murders on H.H. Holmes different hotels. Yes H.H. Holmes had more than one so Munday did the same thing. He wants to beat both Sherman and Holmes on the body count. Of course he has to disappear the police think he died in that fire. Thus why he is using fake names. Yes the victims from before become Du'met he promises to free them but double crosses them. Also like the psycho reference with the Mother called it at the beginning.

Like what? The killer is probably Munday. He probably became a killer cause his mom is awful and a killer he interrogated convinced him to be a killer. Mark took pictures of evidence, so they probably got the police to investigate the hotel. A group in the end won a hotel trip with a host named Du'met. So maybe the killer survived. I'm disappointed I didn't see what collecting the coins amounted to. Since the narrator promised a reward.

You should replay this and either play it where you make all the good decisions (as many as you can) or make all of the worst choices and kill everyone

This was honestly such a good game and a great playthrough by you! 4/5 is really not too shabby 👏 (rip Kate though). The atmosphere throughout the whole game was so suspenseful and scary. Also the storyline is actually very intriguing and makes me want to rewatch and search theories to figure out what exactly happened.

That part with the mannequin animatronics couple dancing in the gazebo and white garden fences reminds me of the early access to Outlast Trials' solo tutorial. Same vibe too, what with you basically playing a cat and mouse game with a vicious stalker.

This was so good! I watched all 3 in a row as I've been stuck in bed all day lol

So happy you went back for Erin, she's gotta be my fav. Fantastic playthrough! Such an engaging story. Also what happened to the dog or did I miss it?

It was a preferential treatment to save the lesbian couple - it is just as easy to Time Machine save Kate, just don’t let Jamie press the button, or give Kate the screwdriver.

I mean the garden scene?? such a good story and game, and as always amazing playthrough by you Moph! Kinda disappointed Kate died. If you hadn't pressed the button Jamie's screwdriver would've shattered the glass and both would survive.

Holy Sh*t! I really enjoyed this one, probably my favorite of them all, aside from Until Dawn. WOW! I'm brand new to the channel, I had watched Gab Smolders playing part 1 and needed MORE because the story of H.H.Holmes is so intense! I saw a drawn layout of the rooms in his building and then read the history, which spooked me immensely! It's reminiscent of my reading about Jack the Ripper, I can handle old cases like that though I feel bad for the victims and I really wish we knew who had done it. I don't like hearing/reading about anything relatively current (1950's and up) with regards to serial killers, it's too close and I feel so bad for the victims and their families/communities. Or even just these shootings happening all around us, it's heartbreaking and scary to think this stuff could happen at any time. I appreciate your thoughtful play-through and commentary on such touching topics and appreciate the ally-ness of what I've seen so far in your videos. I look forward to more! And yes, Herman Mudgett = Granthem Du'Met. I kind of think there's more than one killer but who actually knows.

All i can think of watching this, is there are so many times they outnumber him in his proximity. They could have just killed him and went on their merry way

They would also have to wait and try to survive til someone came. Maybe it's good the lighthouse isn't lit or it'll keep attracting would be victims to that place. 1:17:57 The mom is mean. No wonder the killer turned out like that. Why did the killer make his animatronic mom keep bullying him? It's kinda on him too at that point. 1:19:33 Why are they hesitating and acting slow when trying to flee? It's unnecessary and frustrating. Because of cops like that, look how it gets them into trouble or people killed. The cop being killed, that's the consequences of his poor choices. Cops should know in emergencies, you have seconds. I'd be interested in get knowledge about the situation as fast as can. Not shutting people up. 1:22:28 Should've get the gun sooner and when the killer is busy. Maybe it's better Erin get it than yell it and alert the killer. 1:23:35 Why is Erin just hesitating and staring at the killer instead of action? 1:23:47 Morph:"Where did he go?" The killer fell in the water after swinging his axe. 1:23:54 Morphe:"I'm so scared the boat's going to blow up." Yeah, but the killer probably uses the boat too so maybe not. 1:22:36 How did the killer hang onto the side of the boat? Kick him off when he's still on the side. Why is he so determined? The MCs can jump into the water. 4 against 1, can't they do something? Pepper spray. Why didn't they attack him with the anchor in the first place? At least they got the killer. 1:23:33 Jamie while smiling:"Trauma bonding is hot." Sounds like glamorizing trauma too much. 1:33:18 Yeah, cause each person knows and bring different things. The leader doesn't know everything. 1:34:13 It's impossible for the killer to survive. Could it be someone else? Also, just cause maybe another person picked up the mask doesn't mean he's a killer. The end where a group wins a hotel trip with the host having the same name Du'met makes it seem like the killer survived. 1:35:17 How is Du'met still operating? Wasn't he and his place investigated? Or rebuild so fast? Why does he still use the same name? Makes him more suspicious. What about the coins you collected? The narrator said there'd be a reward. Would you go back and get your stuff? It's nice they saved the dog too. I'm disappointed I didn't see Mark and Charlie have much action with the hotel. I would rather watch them. I'm kinda surprised Erin survived cause she acts kinda weak and hesitates. Cause the team protected her. I guess Erin is kinda realistic of some people. Shows people shouldn't act like Erin. It was frustrating some of them kept running off in panic, separating, and into obvious enclosed trap rooms. But it shows what to be aware of. I guess the writers want to show the killer's trap games, and that the killer is really psychotic. Can't believe Morello sold the team out. Even to protect his daughter he could've slipped the team a note or something. Maybe get cops involved or in disguised.

Finsihed watching all parts in two days, I am not disanpoiment. Very good gameplay

@@captainoreo in case you didn't know it was established in MoM or maybe Little Hope, when he appears in the background it usually means that the character you play as or in the same scene could potentially die. So I assume it's the same for the other games aswell. Meaning that Jamie could potentially die there.

Watch the first video or beginning. The narrator promised a reward but I don't see it. Disappointing.

Trauma bonding is real thing and it is not "hot", it is TRAUMA. Them putting that in the game really ruined this for me, and ruined my favourite character.

This is probably one of the least satisfying endings in the Anthology. Aghhhh!

spoilers . . . . in fairness, if one hasn't watched other playthrus or anything and are just playing this the first time, they wouldn't really be aware that there's a way to save both Kate and Jamie in that scenario, it would just seem like going backwards just to kill the other character instead. whereas with what happened to Erin, going backwards doesn't seem to imply killing someone else instead, just saving her. if that makes sense lol like in the latter scenario you have a net gain at least and in the former scenario, it would appear that you're just trading one character for another

Yeah. Should've just carried on especially after saying that it is what it is, we gotta play it like that on the first playthrough after Kate died.

Maybe cause it's easier to fix Erin's. Maybe Morph thought Erin dying just cause of choosing to climb was ridiculous. Or Morphe likes Erin.

But what about the coins!? You collected so many, what were they used for?

I’m having really hard time crossing that log on 52:17 I kept falling for some reason 😂 I dunno if it’s my controller or I’m just really bad at it. I can do all the other one crossing but just not this one 😅

I still think Kate is in on it. After Until Dawn, I don’t trust anyone 😅

Why do you think Kate's in on it? The killer is trying to kill them all. She died cause of Morphe's choices. They all can survive.

I am extremely dissatisfied about the ending. So many loose threads. 😮‍💨

Aw man! I liked Kate. I didn’t want her to die! I think this is my fave in the game series. Much more enjoyable characters but I want to know who the killer is!

I was wrong, totally thought the whole thing was a fake set up for a TV show by one of the characters, like Kate's new job was this and she was fooling them, but really Erin was behind it and set her up to think she was in control to prov e her skills, or zcharlie was finally getting his shot or it was Mark's friend's studios idea. I kept thinking it was fake and all a TV show until the end tbh.
