100,000 people across the UK have seen their cancer worsen due to increasing NHS waiting times. Cancer diagnosis and treatment delays have a negative impact on the lives of individuals and families across the UK.
Our What Are We Waiting For campaign is calling on all four governments in the UK to address the issue of cancer waiting times and the increasing demand on medical professionals working in the NHS.
Macmillan Cancer Support's campaign is urging UK Governments to invest in the system to ensure the needs of people affected by cancer are met. This means getting a timely diagnosis, treatment when then need it and the support they need.
