As an Adventist for 7 years, the book that keeps me motivated to do the work of God and to stay to the truth is the book of the Great Controversy by Ellen G. White. This was really an eye-opener for me to see the status of the world right now and to have hope that Christ will become victorious at the end of this cosmic drama for so many millennia. Thank you The Lineage Journey for highlighting my favorite book in your season. I hope that many will still be blessed by this powerful book that brings light to the people in the dark and worship the one true Creator.

@docrobinson703 you do realize that God used Ellen White to help us understand more than just prophesy. She nearly died writing that book the Great Controversy. Satan didn't want that book written and published. Now I am not saying we shouldn't read our Bibles God's Holy Word but scripture does tell us in Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The testimony of Jesus Christ is code word for this in Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. So in other words God encourages us not only in His word but in the gift of the spirit of prophesy.

Ellen G. White was a false prophetess. Her promotion of Sabbath-keeping as a primary doctrine in the church goes against the clear teaching of the New Testament on the matter (Romans 14:5). Her “revelation” that hell is not eternal contradicts Jesus’ words concerning “eternal punishment” in Matthew 25:46. Her teaching that the sins of believers will be placed on Satan, the “scapegoat” (The Great Controversy, p. 422, 485), is the opposite of what the Bible says about who bore our sins (see 1 Peter 2:24). Her identification of Jesus as Michael the archangel (Jude 1:9, Clear Word Bible, published by Review and Herald Publishing Association, 1994) is a denial of the true nature of Christ. Her repudiation of the verbal inspiration of the Bible (Selected Messages, Book 1, p. 21 Manuscript 24, 1886) is at variance with passages such as 2 Timothy 3:16 and Psalm 12:6.

I've read "The Great Controversary" many times. It always draws me back for inspiration! It is a true gem for the faithful!! Praise God!!

Just headed to your KZread page to see what you were up to. Could not be more pleased. My dream is to have the GC made into a blockbuster movie (particularly based on end time events), but this is another way just as important. God bless you, and please include all the content included in "Aims of the Papacy" etc, not gutted like the "Great Hope" booklet. Here in Australia there is an unfortunate situation where church leadership does not want this book shared freely far and wide, and pushed the "Great Hope" booklet instead. This time they are silent about the world church inititive, which was last mentioned in the SPD church paper in 2022 discouraging people to freely distribute the full book. Truely sad situation, especially in this time of earth's history.

Fantastic! Love the Great Controversy. Jesus’ prophesy about the abomination of desolation has a dual application. It applied to God’s people in 70 AD, and it will apply to God’s people in the end days. Study Ezekiel 8:1-16 and you will see the Lord showing Ezekiel through vision great abominations committed, each worse than the last, but the greatest abomination is sun worship(verse 16). This is the abomination of desolation.

of the 42 chapters we only covered about 10 in season 1 and another 2-3 in season 2 so it fills in the blanks! Also it gave us a chance to redo some of the chapters we did in season 1 with new scripts and new footage

They are His instruments employed to accomplish His purposes of grace and mercy and every individual has a part to play. However, no one has fully comprehended the great plan of redemption, or even to a perfect appreciation of the message uttered in His name. *(See Job 11:7; Isaiah 55:8, 9; 46:9, 10).* Even the prophets of old did not fully comprehend the significance of the revelations they were given as the meaning was to be unfolded from age to age, as the people of God had need. ❇️ Although the prophets did not understand fully the revelations, they earnestly sought to obtain all the light which God had made manifest, *(1 Peter 1:10-12).* They inquired and searched diligently. This is a lesson and a challenge to the people of God in the Christian age as these prophecies were given for their benefit! Let it be a rebuke to those who declare that the prophecies cannot be understood. ❇️ Although the human mind cannot understand fully the working out of God’s purposes, sometimes it is because of neglect on our part that we fail to comprehend the messages of Heaven. Our minds, are so blinded by human opinions, traditions and false teachings of men. Even His disciples' minds were saturated with the conception of the Messiah as a temporal prince, who was to exalt Israel to the throne of the universal empire that they failed to grasp His teachings. ❇️ The disciples preached the message Christ had committed, but they did not understand its meaning. They did not understand *Daniel 9:25,* that the Messiah was to be cut off. They anticipated glory of an earthly empire, and this blinded their understanding. The kingdom they expected is yet future and is to be set up at the second advent of Christ. ❇️ After His resurrection, He explained to them from the Scriptures the things concerning Himself *(Luke 24:27).* It was and is still needful for the followers of Christ to have an intelligent faith, that they might carry the knowledge of Christ to the world. And as the very first step in imparting this knowledge, Jesus directed the disciples to _“Moses and all the prophets.”_ Such was the testimony given by the risen Saviour to the value and importance of the Old Testament Scriptures. ❇️ The experience of the disciples who preached at the first advent of Christ, had its counterpart in the experience of those who proclaimed the message of His second advent. William Miller and his associates did not fully comprehend the importance of the message which they preached just like the first disciples. Errors long established in the church hindered them from arriving at a correct interpretation of an important point in the prophecy and they suffered disappointment. In explaining Daniel 8:14, Miller adopted the popular view that the earth was the sanctuary, and he believed that the cleansing of the sanctuary represented the purification of the earth by fire at the coming of the Lord. ❇️ Those who proclaimed this warning gave the right message at the right time. The disciples were mistaken about setting up the kingdom after seventy weeks, so were the Adventists in regard to the 2300 days as they failed to see that there were still other messages brought to view in Revelation 14, which were also to be given before the advent of the Lord. In both cases there was an adherence to popular errors that blinded the mind to the truth. They all fulfilled the will of God in delivering the message but through their own misunderstanding, they suffered disappointment. ❇️ This disappointment would reveal the strength of those who with real faith had obeyed what they believed to be the teaching of the Word and the Spirit of God. It would teach them the danger of accepting the theories and interpretations of men, instead of making the Bible its own interpreter. They would be led to a closer study of the prophetic word. They would be taught to examine more carefully the foundation of their faith, and to reject everything, however widely accepted by the Christian world, that was not founded upon the Scriptures of truth. ❇️ With these Adventist believers, as with the first disciples, that which in the hour of trial seemed dark to their understanding would afterward be made plain. At 5:01 you speak of the Temple and its destruction, and quote Matthew 24.2 which has the following text: And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down." You falsely claim that "this came to pass" which is another false statement on your part! As in all fictitious stories, Jesus was totally wrong in his prediction. As shown in your video, the Western Wall of the Temple still stands, and the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has promised that it will always remain standing under his protection.

You have some points there. We all know the Western wall stands but perhaps Christians just misread the text. Like it could be saying that in that one spot they were observing no stone would remain upon another while not referring to the whole temple. That’s the annoying part it’s like are they just ignorantly repeating historical inaccuracies without having done the actual research or questioning the popularly accepted narrative or does the text not say what they claim it says? We are academics so where is the research? They are filming in front of the Western Wall and claiming no stone remained on another and so blinded so as to not question popular narrative that they don’t see the irony.
