I am experimenting with making it spring driven, using a pull star recoil spring. One was not enough, so I used 2

Jacques, I really hope that at some time you will publish plans for your clocks. There are only 2 good sources for plans that I have found - Brian Law and Clayton Boyer ( although I'm sure there are a couple others.) And if you do, please make them available in DXF files for CNC. You are really creative and it would be nice to see other builders' interpretations of your work ( including me.) I've made wooden clocks and am currently working on a couple that I am adapting to making with aluminum and carbon fiber.

Most of my clocks are on MyMiniFactory as STL files, some free, others for a small fee www.myminifactory.com/users/jacprint I only do 3D printing and depending on manufacturing, some files might need adjustment but one day, maybe
