Been a Denver fan my whole life. 48 years! Went to games in a stroller. Watched Elway's first game in person. Eating stadium nachos... Wilson had guys open down the field, almost 3 out of 4 passing plays last year. Go watch the tape. Watch his eyes and foot placement after dropping back and planting or rolling out. It was totally embarrassing. Coach had every right to be mad as heck. All he did was freeze. Frozen Mummy. Caveman. Freeze Master!! *The Steelers have a treasured and nearly-divine (at times) NFL history. With that being said, I'm not totally convinced that, "Steelers Country ...Let's Smelt," is going to go over very well in downtown Pittsburg. Just him living there seems 100% out-of-place for him. I seriously hope he is starting when we play them this year. He is an "I" guy even though he's a nice guy. He should have retired as a Seahawk, but he's trying to go full "Peyton Manning" and pad his stats for H.O.F. admission. IMO

I think that given the talk about 18 regular season games and the NFl flush with talent it is time to both expand the roster from 53 to 60 and give teams incentives and leverage to keep players they draft.

Your consistent optimism is great. I feel we will really be much better than everyone thinks. If not, then Bo needs to be great as he grows with his lumps as a rookie. We really could be this year's Texans.

Good stuff man Loving it. But we did not sweep the AFC East in fact we lost three out of four, Miami was the blowout, the Patriots at home and the Jets came in here and won with Hackett as OC...

To tell you the truth Ben, I've heard about 30X more bad comments about Sean Payton from Bronco fans on social media than I have from the national press. Other than about 2 or 3 guys, I've heard very few media guys contest the idea that Payton is a great coach. OTOH...I've seen dozens of Bronco fans talking crap about him. I have a theory about this which you probably won't like, but it boils down to the idea that having lived all around the country, I have found our own fans to be among the least knowledgeable about the NFL game.

We didn't sweep the NFC east. We actually only beat the Bills. I'm so glad RW is gone though. And I'm so excited about Bo Nix. I think he will be a hall of famer!

Thanks for keeping us going during the dead season! That said, Wilson was and is a stain that keeps on giving... :):)

We may have to play the AFC North, but we also get to play the NFC South and they are listed as second to last. BTW, has it ever happened before that a team plays an opponent in preseason and then turns around and plays then again in the regular season? That's happening with us and the Colts this season.

Watson will make this team , if is not kept this would be a mistake ! We also need a hard nosed inside RB who ever can meet that call should also make this team ? Remember Sean’s greatest teams were multi-skilled RB heavy teams …. Where that multi threat offense open up the field for let’s say ….. a speed burner threat like Mimm’s might bust a game wide open when the defense is so focused on stopping the RB run/ passing threat that one on ones will never be able to stay with our WR talent , striking deep when least expected ! …. Look at the talent base Sean had then ….RB and WR balance …. Multiple threats able to strike anywhere on the field ….flats , screens, deep , middle , outs ( beyond the marker , boy do we need that !) and then the ability to bust it back inside for big gains ! Running compliments the passing and both equal together scores …. Attack ! Attack ! Attack ! Then let the defense take it away again in their offensive struggle to keep up ! …. This is classic Bronco and Sean Payton football !

Attacking football costs lives ! Depth and health is extremely important in this scheme …. Smart , quick reading , quick release QB is very important to this success … and a talent deep practice squad a must …. Now TE who will it be ? Huge need !!! To me that’s all that’s missing here right now ??? Trenches could be , let’s see how they develop in a true Payton offensive scheme ??? We have basically what we need ….. now let’s coach it up ! Let’s see what you got Sean , no excuses this year ! And shut this media up ! Now’s your chance !
